Jeff Green: Old

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cavs still have their full MLE which is why I like this signing. Personally I'm not a big Crawford fan but would be OK if they also sign him at vet min or at most split the MLE between him and the young kid Cedi. Wonder if Bogut would also be up for a vet min signing? Of course a Melo trade might be looming too..

If I remember his defense is decent right? I hope?

Uhhh, I think I'd rather have Derrick who is least young and still has some potential. WTF is this team doing? Am I the only one wondering if Gilbert is trying to piss Lebron off?

ESPIN reporting he was in contact with Lebron and that was one of the reasons he signed.

Who is getting better guys for similar money? they both signed for league Minimum most of the other guys signed have gone for more then that

Tyreke to Memphis for 3.3m comes to mind. Yeah, not minimum but I guess I am just underwhelmed.

I've been keeping track of this guy's career since Presti (I track GMs who have good draft rep, sue me :chuckle:) drafted/got him from BOS. He is definitely what he is. He came in the league as your 3/4 tweener at time when does were frowned upon.

The book on him is that he doesn't really do ANYTHING well. He's one of those guys that's just okay at 2 or 3 things. He is not a very attentive defender so don't think he's some sort of stopper.

At the minimum, I'll take it. Don't think he moves even a centimeter on the needle vs GS, but the fact that he just turned 30 is :bling:

Forgot to add: Pretty much every team that signed him (for too much money) ended up regretting it.

Tyreke is complete trash not sure why people want him so bad but that would eat up the majority of the MLE we have not sure what they are doing but signing Green to the minimum isn't a bad move

No real issue with adding Green for the min, just wish LeBron would talk to a few impact players.

So he's 31 and has never exceeded a PER of 15.

At least he's 6'9" and on a vet minimum contract.

Jeff Green takes RJ's spot in the rotation
RJ slides to JJ's spot on the bench
Jose takes Dahntay Jones's spot behind the bench.
