Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Arbitrary win total predictions are seemingly pointless, but if this team wins I agree it will be on the backs of Tate/West and the defense.

I just fail to see what Manziel has done which would make people believe he could be the difference in four wins over Hoyer. Kid looked absolutely lost out there on some pretty basic NFL concepts.

Watching Russell Wilson flat out dominate from inside the pocket and out just reinforced my thoughts on why those two guys are so different. He's really special.

There's re-iteration, then there's b00bie re-iteration, or re-tit-eration.

You never want to make the same mistake twice.

I couldn't have made my public admiration for Brandon Weeden anymore clear a few years ago and people still got confused. Sometimes it's just better to continually drive the point home so people remember next time.

i keep checking the tape from those 2 series on and off with manziel and hoyer and I really dont see the footwork issues or jumping out of the pocket that keeps being recited over and over. then I watch Manziel with the second line and lots of pressure sending Manziel scrambling. when he did force himself to stay in the pocket it was a miracle he didnt get sack more ..

which for the preseason compared to guys with similiar amounts of plays was significantly high.

Browns have a solid line with little depth... this can be easily seen by looking at the 7 offensive lineman that didnt make the cut and two were brought in off the waiver wire.

wanna see an interesting stat count how many underthrown or behind the back throws manziel threw per attempt to hoyer.....

its rather telling.

as far as hoyers starts last season. He is similiar to jason garrett. a guy who can come out look solid for a few game then the tape gets out and they get exposed.

then again perhaps hoyer just isnt a guy who performs in the preseason and steps it up in the regular season.

Browns are following the script ray farmer set out for manziel the day he was drafted.

Oh, my sweet summer child. :chuckle:

Oh FML lol are well, if I'm going to experience Cleveland, why not experience it the right way like a local in all it's frozen glory hey?

“As much as anything else, it’s the mechanics of the game: handle himself at the line of scrimmage, making sure we’re in the right play,” Garrett said. “His decision-making at different times was only OK in this game, but he did some good things. Obviously we’ll highlight those and try to correct the other things. Like we talked about with him all along, he needs to play. He needs to play a lot of snaps, and I think he’ll get better and better the more chances we give him in game situations.”

So I picked up a Browns league pass for $93 today - pretty happy with that. Only a few hours to go now!

im disappointed the pass isnt set up where you can have a camera on Johnny Manziel all the time like they do in nascar. We want to see Manziel pat guys on the back when they come to the sideline. critic how he holds a clipboard and make money signs whenever a browns player does something good.

Care to PM me how you did that?

I'd love to but got presented with the following message when I tried:

Not quite sure why, though. Anyhow, I'll post it here as it may come in handy for others as well:

Sign up for the "FOLLOW YOUR TEAM - $109.99" pass and select the Browns. Then at checkout, use the promo code "REP15" and that should bring the price down.

Enjoy!

BTW, Kelvin Benjamin made a crazy one-handed catch for 24 yards for Carolina today... looks like a #1WR... was taken a few picks after Manziel.

Thought you should know, I will keep you abreast of Benjamin's accomplishments in this thread while Manziel continues to look like a non-NFL player.

Go Browns!

Isn't that like the folks who polluted the TT thread constantly talking about JV?

Just sayin'

I think you need to give me at least four years before mentioning Johnny's uselessness compared to #1WRs becomes the equivalent of that thread.
