Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think it's fair to say anything about Josh other than he executed the game plan on offense to perfection. If he continues down this path of giving WRers and TEs the ball in space, then he'll continue to be successful.

Don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere, but the Ravens overhauled their roster by dropping a linebacker and corner, signing three new corners.

They were like, "McCown did WHAT?!?!? Fire people!"

At least this train wreck of an argument is happening on the Manziel thread and not an actual relevant part of the Browns section.

No stat is infallible, but the people most vocal in speaking out against it are those least likely to understand it.

Is that your best defense of PFF? "You just don't understand"?

I'd think you of all people can understand nothing, no matter how good one person thinks it is, is immune to criticism.

Seems like it's too easy of an answer, but it's probably the most accurate.

Considering any and every response of how the stat doesn't work is basically a regurgitation of the box score.

OMG he had X yards and touchdowns it was a great game!!

Not always the case.

Managing the game and going above and beyond replacement level are two different things. It doesn't make them above criticism, it makes them alternative to traditional norms.

People seem to have a hard time getting beyond that.

Can we just create a PFF thread so everyone who swallows PFF stats can go in there and swap gooey stats all day?

This thread is supposed to be about the greatest up & coming QB CLE has seen since Garcia, let's keep it that way

McCown's making people lose jobs like it's 2008. What an OG.

Johnny involved in a domestic incident. Alcohol involved.....

AVON, Ohio - Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, was pulled over by Avon police after police said a domestic argument got out of hand on Interstate 90 westbound earlier in the week.

Police said alcohol was involved.Tthe argument took place between Manziel and his Texas Christian University girlfriend Colleen Elizabeth Crowley.

According to a four-page police report obtained exclusively by newsnet5.com, both were drinking but were not charged.

The incident started on I-90 westbound near the Nagle Road overpass on Monday at 6 p.m.

According to the report, a witness called police after seeing Manziel's white Nissan use the shoulder of the road to pass her at a high speed.

The witness told police the couple was arguing and Crowley attempted to exit the vehicle while they were on the road.

In the report, both Manziel and Crowley admitted they were having an argument and Crowley threw a wallet out of the window.

The report stated the couple then stopped the car in an Avon neighborhood and continued arguing. That's when a second witness called police.

Minutes later, police stopped Manziel's car on Nagle Road where he said both he and Crowley had been drinking in downtown Cleveland earlier that day.

In the report, Crowley told police Manziel pushed her head into a window. She wanted her cell phone because she was concerned about her safety and said she just wanted to return to Texas.

The report stated police did see an abrasion on Crowley's arm but later determined that the abrasion was from Manziel's attempt to keep her from getting out of the vehicle while it was on the road.

According to the report, police did not believe the couple was intoxicated to the point where they could be charged and Crowley told officers that she did not want to press charges so both were allowed to leave the scene in Manziel's car.

Dude needs to dump that crazy bitch.

As for Johnny's prospects with us, I wouldn't at all be surprised if they dumped him before the trade deadline runs out (in a week or two of i remember correctly), especially since that seems to be where the relationship is going anyways now that we have Davis.

Oh Johnny

If you're a bartender why would you even serve the most famous alcoholic in the town?

Keep your hands off the women when you are drunk and angry, asshole.

I hated him when they drafted him... and my hatred only deepens.

Makes it very easy to cut him if they really don't want him.
