Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well, some people get their lives together and change. Others just don't ever get it.

He seems to be falling into the latter category. It'd be nice if the Browns just cut bait with him, but that's not happening.

We got Davis signed to an extension. Outside the fact he's a former first round pick, you got to ask why he's even on the team.

I was expecting a different story to break.

Nice work kid. :alc:

I can't think of a single legitimate reason for a football player to shove a woman's head into a window.

I'll reserve final judgement until details come out.

There's always two sides to a story and while he likely doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt, there's a huge difference between her head bumping the window during an argument and Johnny going Chris Brown and repeatedly bashing it in to the glass.

One could be the result of trying to restrain her (i.e. he was trying to keep her from being physical with him), the other is flat out something that should never be tolerated under any circumstance.

For his place on this team it probably doesn't matter but for his future opportunities it does.

Now I only skimmed the article, but...nowhere did I see any sort of confirmation that this occurred other than that she claimed it happened. Kind of like how JT Barrett's girlfriend claimed he roughed her up and everybody has JT's back about it and said the bitch was just crazy.

Now maybe I missed something, but I also didn't see where it said they were drink. Been drinking and drunk are not equal, and if he/they were drunk, I'd think they would be picked up. Am I wrong? But I think in cases like this it's super irresponsible to jump to conclusions, especially letting your own prejudices get in the way of rational judgment on the situation.

Keep your hands off the women when you are drunk and angry, asshole.

Per the article:

In the report, Crowley told police Manziel pushed her head into a window. She wanted her cell phone because she was concerned about her safety and said she just wanted to return to Texas.

The report stated police did see an abrasion on Crowley's arm but later determined that the abrasion was from Manziel's attempt to keep her from getting out of the vehicle while it was on the road.

What I take away from that is that she claims he pushed her head into a window, but the only sign of damage on her body was an abrasion on her arm that they deemed happened when he tried to keep her from jumping out of a moving car.

As I said before, this girl seems like nothing but trouble and not the kind of person he should be keeping around if he's serious about getting better personally.

Per the report:

According to the report, police did not believe the couple was intoxicated to the point where they could be charged and Crowley told officers that she did not want to press charges so both were allowed to leave the scene in Manziel's car.

I can't remember what poster mentioned it but it certainly didn't sound like a good situation when it was noted his girlfriend was out at the bar drinking.

You would think someone that truly cared about him could also give up that lifestyle, especially in the short term, with his best interests in mind.

Guess we'll see what happens.

That's the point. I don't think she cares about him because she's a sorority girl/star fucker who's getting her 15 mins of fame.

Johnny needs a chubby mid-west girl in the worst way.
