I predict Thad Lewis will start more games than Manziel this year.
I said it in May, agreed.

What does Pryor making the team have to do with Lewis? For the Browns or for someone else because Lewis probably is not making the 53. Especially if Pryor makes the squad.
What does Pryor making the team have to do with Lewis?
He'd better actually worry about making the team first. And to put it in perspective, the only reason he MIGHT is due to Connor Shaw going on IR.I said it in May, agreed.
suggested by who?Because it has been suggested that Pryor would be used as the emergency third QB on the roster. As long as McCown and Manziel are healthy there is no real point in wasting a roster spot on a full-time third QB.
Rumblings.suggested by who?

Everybody has something to worry about. McCown should worry about being a scrambling 36 year old quarterback. Anyone in their late 30s will tell you the body just can't take the same punishment it used to. I guessed that he is moderately effective this season when healthy... but his happy feet in the face of pressure make me think he isn't lasting 16 games.
And Manziel also has happy feet with even less wisdom on how to avoid injury. He lasted a game and a half last season. Part of that was his lack of sobriety... which we hear he hasn't gotten a grasp on yet. All the more reason to think he isn't playing 16 games.
Who is saying this? And Manziel's injury last season was non-contact.Everybody has something to worry about. McCown should worry about being a scrambling 36 year old quarterback. I was asking specifically about the "Part of that was his lack of sobriety... which we hear he hasn't gotten a grasp on yet" part. If its just your opinion, you should say so, so that it is not taken as an unsubstantiated rumor. Because I haven't heard anything about him still having issues.Me. I'm saying it. We can focus on any number of reasons Manziel won't be starting the majority of the Browns games, I just listed two. If you want to put a wager on Manziel's number of starts, I'll take 8 or under. I think third QB is more valuable to this team than people think, and Tarrell Pryor is not a plan for third QB. He is learning how to transition away from QB and make his living as a WR.
