Second recorded offense (albeit one before the inception of the current policy) had better warrant more than 50 games.

It's doubtful he gets more than 50.

Only reason Braun did was because of his slander of the FedEx guy. As some have called it, 'the asshole tax'.

Ryan Braun would likely pay 3 million to get to start vacationing early as opposed to keep playing for Milwaukee another pointless 65 games. Seriously all the travel, being away from home I bet he's totally fine today.

Offense 1: Full Season Ban. Weekly testing for that specific player.
Offense 2: Another full season ban. Forfeiture of the HOF. Completely ineligible.
Offense 3: Lifetime Ban. Includes any post career coaching, commentating, anything regarding employment with the MLB.

3 strikes and you're fucking out.

Well, Braun has been suspended by Major League Baseball for the rest of the season after dropping an appeal, and somewhere Todd Sutton is wondering how he can collect the Green Bay Packers quarterback's $4.5 million base salary for this year.
When Braun had a positive test for PEDs overturned on appeal, Rodgers publicly defended him then as well.

Might be a bit awkward the next time the two Wisconsin sports stars talk.
Rodgers probably should be regretting being so defensive of Braun, now that Braun has dropped his appeal and said he made "some mistakes" and is willing to accept the consequences. Rodgers once backed out of a jersey bet with the R&B group Boyz II Men, and we really don't figure he will "pony up" on his Braun bet either.

Having Peralta suspended with time served this season would probably be better for the Tribe than any deal the team could make before the deadline.

Peralta is worth 2.7 WAR this year to date. Knowing nothing about what DET has that could fill the gap, removing him seems likely to cost them between 1-2 wins the rest of the way. Seems like it could be important in a tight race.
