I wouldnt want Dirk on the Cavs at all, if it was between him and Josh Howard I'd pick Josh. Dirk is beyond soft, a very good talent but seems to be very weak mentally, and I dont like the fact his game can be neutralized by putting a SF on him.

He would be a good fit, but don't know if his off the court issue's are worth taking a shot at him. But i would be less worried about him than Randolph, and his contract isn't bad at all.

We would definitely have to take on one of there bad contracts, which would be Dampier. AV/Wally matches up perfect, but would it be worth it. That would be our team going forward as our cap would be completely gone.

Not if he would prevent us from getting an elite big. I think Josh is a very good player, he's just not a fit for our payroll or our current chemistry situation.

Howard Damp is good if we don't get rid of AV. That is not good for us. AV IMO is way better than Dampier. Howard would be good here I can't deny that but how is his D? Really i've watched like four Mavs games in my life so Ion't have a good answer for that. If he is weak defensively than no way do I want him, Mo and a weak defender in the backcourt is terrible and completely kills the championship hopes.

The Cavs NEED a big 2 guard if they want to win a title, if the Lakers are in the finals there is no way you can realistically put West on Kobe. Most of us are looking at two guard options that are realistic, the idea of getting an elite big is a stretch, considering there are so few.

Yeah that is true and I mean we could maybe do a deal for Melo if Denver thinks they won't be able to resign him but is that really worth the risk? We should just take a deal that makes us better not one that makes us worse.

Actually, Sasha got some reasonable playing time tonight -- and has looked relatively consistent all season. We don't know what's been happening off the court that has caused MB to play him so little, but we never know.

However, I do know that West wont be guarding Kobe. Lets not use absurd ideas just to promote dumb trades.
