JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JR took a leaf out of Tristan's book tonight. He came up with some crazy rebounds. Plus these two blocks. Holy shit. Just keep doing that and also go back to hitting 8 threes every game and the Cavs will be good against GS :D

I was hopeful JR's catch shoot jumpshooting would fit in well but didn't figure we would get two elite 3 and D guys in one trade.

Amazing how fit works even in elite level of sports. You have two guys with upper tier athletic ability, good basketball skills and yet completely wasted in the wrong situation but shine in the right place

That jersey… :cha (28):

Seeing that Jersey makes me think of Terrell Brandon and young Big Z.

But also Ricky Davis, D Miles, and a ton of scrubs.

It's funny how we sometimes associate the quality of a jersey design with how well the team was during the era the jersey was worn.

I think the Seattle Seahawks jerseys are one of the worst in the NFL but I bet Seattle fans love them because they associate them with two straight Super Bowls.

I will always hate our current jerseys even if we won five titles with them. :chuckle:

It's so awesome to see this guy reach this level of focus at this point in his career. JR is realizing his own potential and it has to be an awesome feeling for him too to be playing for the world's most coveted accomplishment in the sport of basketball.

He has elevared his game right before our eyes.

J.R. is having a more dominant series vs. Atlanta than he did with Chicago. He's averaging 18 points, 1.7 assists, 6.7 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal. He's also shooting .500 FG% and .500 3P%.

His Chicago numbers: 12.8 points, 1 assists, 4 rebounds, 0.5 steal, and 0.5 block. He shot .500 FG% and .444 3P%.

Wow...that's remarkable.

Incredible, JR follows up a double-double off the bench with ANOTHER double-double off the bench.

I'm pass words with this guy... from reigning in his three-point barrages to become a lethal sniper from deep, to always being the first guy back in transition defense, to enjoy making the extra pass... this guy was made to play shooting guard next to LeBron James.

That throwback jersey is fucking beautiful.
THAT should be our hardwood classic jersey next year, not the same tired out threads from the ‘70s that already resemble our current jerseys too much.

I have the Irving jersey of that style. I also found some game-worn shorts on ebay of that style too. I get a bunch of honks every time I walk around cleveland on game days.
