For all his upright play/behavior following the trade to Cleveland, JR threw it all away with that punch.

Love was already gone with an injury and Perkins had retaliated on Crowder.

Have any of you ever seen an NBA player swing his arm back toward another player as violently as JR without it being intentional? Cherry on top was the closed fist.

As to not going for the head shot, when an opponent is
riding your back with his arm on your back/head, you have a pretty good idea where the head will be found.

We saw a tip on the old JR earlier in the series with the jersey tuck mock at the refs.

When you have a time bomb, odds are it will eventually go off. And it this case, the explosion comes at a meaningless moment in the game against a team only minutes from elimination.

He was sticking up for his teammates, got unlucky and hit Crowder in the face, unless you think he has eyes in the back of his head. Crowder deserved a hard foul, too bad he got "hurt", but it seems he is OK after all.

I'm kind of concerned it has taken more than 24 hours to make a decision. I'm getting the feeling they're going to take more than just the hit into consideration to come up with a solution. That means his past, the physicality of the playoffs so far, whether they should send a message, ect. I'm scared too JR.

Maybe they need to consider that piece of filth Olynyk ripping K-Love's arm out of its socket too. But it seems the Disney-ESPN-NBA media complex is trying to normalize that atrocity, like it is just part of the game, bad luck, not darling little innocent Kelly's fault. That Olynyk arm-bar was totally designed to hurt Love, while JR's backhand would have just been a foul at most if it had landed on Crowder's shoulder instead.
