What's most remarkable about this whole situation is that for me, both JR and Kev were the X-Factors. We knew what we we're going to get out of Kyrie, LBJ, Timo etc. on most given nights - the difference between taking championship glory and falling short was going to depend on JR hitting his 3's and blowing the roof off the Q, and Kevin rebounding, scoring inside and out and spacing the floor like a mad man on a mission (as he looked in the first 3 games).

I just can't fully comprehend how this kind of shit/why this kind of shit has to happen.

I think that 2 games is a just punishment (though Olymyk should have gotten more), especially considering Smith's lengthy history of incidents like this, but some of the things being said on RealGM are ridiculous (mostly Bulls fans, surprise surprise). Some of them think Smirh should have been suspended the entire postseason and others even think he should get criminal charges because "Crowder could have died if his knee didn't buckle and prevent him from hitting the floor hard." That's ridiculous.

I think Love's injury totally changes things. While I was cheering as loud as possible at the first game, I think most people saw it as "just the first round", but now we really don't have any more rounds guaranteed. I am going to look at each game I get to go to as possibly the last of the season, and I'm sure everyone else will too.

It's the Bulls, we didn't need a player to get injured (or suspended) to have a reason to be loud.
