The only one I got is that Green is on Love all game and totally shuts his water off, in embarrassing fashion. GS switches too many picks for Green to stick to Love all game. That will probably net a lot of Love on centers and Iggy

Solid point. As that series went on, we figured out how to use their switching to set up matchups we wanted, right down to KI's game-winner.

I'm all for beating GS but I hope they don't show their cards. I would be fine getting are ass kicked if it means any playoff advantage.

I would like them to utilize this game trying alternating many different plans rather then giving KD good up close looks at are main strategy and hands on experience dealing with are biggest weapons.

Just my two cents

Then why don't you care less?

The phrase is "couldn't care less"

Sheesh.

The strange thing is I've had multiple people actually argue against this when I point it out. Mistakes are fine and all, but at that point you kinda just want to smack a guy for this sort of thing!

Warriors baited a lot of teams to play in the low post and just as the post-up guy was about to make his move to score, they swarmed in to close him down and get a TO. With someone like LeBron they can't do that because LeBron's passing will rip them apart but thats one aspect Love has to sort it out. Passing from the post especially when Warriors send doubles etc.
Swarming Love, they can try... LeBron will have a few straight line dunks.

In the Finals when they did this it usually resulted in a turnover...so let's just see if Love can handle it Sunday.

He continues to find his way against the Warriors, building on his Game 7 step-up.

Love drawing free throws today was huge. It got the Warriors in some foul issues and it slowed the pace of the game when the Cavs need it.

Along with the growth of Kyrie, the growth of Kevin is critical for us to be able to beat the Warriors in a series. He and Kyrie have to be ready for the moment. Including when LeBron rests.

Great job today, Kevin. Just one more step forward against a team you have to be able to play against.

+12

Got to the line, rebounded, and hit 3s

Didnt take advantage of switches in the post as well as you'd hope but he didn't turn the ball over too much on traps either.

And some of those plays will be defended better. They are very effective of using gravity for layups.

Just like in game 7, KLove closed the game at the 5. When the Warriors went to the small ball death lineup, the Cavs ran Kyrie/Shump/Jeff/LBj/Love and came back and won.

The small ball death lineup took one of its biggest Ls ever this 4th quarter. KLove changing the narrative right before our eyes.

It is really awesome to see that lineup working with Love. Previously that line up only worked with TT and whole it was still good, there were ways to cheat off TT defensively.

With love in there, there is no way to double or shade Bron and Kyrie without writing your own death sentence.

Bron/Kyrie/Love/Jefferson. Shump, JR and Liggins (maybe even Dunlewvy down the road)are all interchangsble. JR is probably the best option with Shump as a close second because of his on-ball D. But the threat of J.R. canning 5 threes in 2 minutestes adds an extra dimension to the lineup. But it's also very cool that Liggins and Shumpert can both be very effective in that lineup.

If that lineup can continue to compete like that defensively and can improve their pick&roll coverage, that could be the lineup that closes come finals time.

KD on Love isn't a good matchup for him I hope we don't keep trying to go to that in the finals. Try to get him on klay or curry.

You look at some stats and you think he might have had a sub par outing. 5-13 and only 6 boards. However, he went 7-8 from the line and 3 of his field goals were threes which gives him a ts of over .600.

I believe he might have been the leader in bpm tonight as well.

Kevin Love is awesome. I just know it was draymond green that was the anonymous player that told mark jackson that he's a buster.

Well draymond, you can go fuck yourself. You can count the amount of big men on one hand from a guy in a wood shop accident that are playing better than Kevin Love.

Love shot the ball really well, went to the line and got Warriors in foul trouble and rebounded very well. Offensively, he did almost everything you want him to do. Defensively, Kev will never be a Garnett or Duncan but I though he was ok on the defensive end and someone who we can play late in the game without any issues. There's a reason he finished with the highest +- in the game.
