The increased risk that Love will not be at peak performance level in this year's playoffs is relevant to whether we should trade him, because it actually does lower his value as a player to us. And he is the most replaceable of our top four players; Lebron or Kyrie could never be traded, even TT is more important than Love in a GS series.
I'm not saying we should sell low. Melo alone would not be enough. But I do think it moves the needle on the trade equation a little away from "hell no"
