Kevin Love - Miami Ground Machine

K.Love came here for Lebron. Lebron is in insurrection against the coach. K.Love is bleh...........who would have ever thought it?

When I watch Love, I can't even comprehend how he used to score so many points. He is awful in traffic and off of the dribble. It seems the only thing he can do is shoot. When he gets into the paint, he looks lost and throws up a ton of shitty shots that remind me of Tristan in his rookie season. Did he only score so many points because he shot a lot or what? I just don't get it. This guy does not impress me at all. I am hoping we can sign and trade him in the offseason for someone that plays both sides of the ball. Shit, I think Milsap is the better player just because of Love's putrid defense alone.

He's not even a good shooter. Said this a few weeks ago and got killed for it. He almost does nothing well. You would get better value from any other stretch 4. They try to get it to him in the paint, yet he's not quick enough to beat his guy and he's not long enough to shoot over his defender. He's getting stuffed or turning it over when they get it to him on the block. And then if he's not making 3s, he's completely worthless.

The funny thing is people still want to sign him to a max. As if that makes up for trading away the entire future.

It really sucks. You'd think the scouts and GM would know how Love really plays and just awful his D was. They aren't fans that only get to see him a few times a year and see his ridiculous stat sheet from last season. They should have known how awful he was on defense. They should have known how bad he is in traffic. My god.

I agree on other stretch 4's making a bigger impact than Love. Basically another PF that can make a 3 is better than Love for this team because they are better than him defensively by default and will basically play the same offensive role he has for us anyways.

I'm sure I will get killed for this, but whatever, I don't care about "big names." We don't need Love's game. We need guys that can play their role and play defense and fit with Kyrie and LeBron. It'll never happen, but I'd seriously debate trading him for Anderson and Asik or Mozgov and Afflalo/Chandler.

Love isn't trying to learn shit. If you REALLY watch him on defense and just focus on him and nobody else... it is absolutely pathetic. There are times that he PURPOSELY gets out of the way and allows layups. He almost never contests a shot (which is why I believe he gets so many rebounds... he just gets right into rebounding position instead of actually contesting shots). I have never seen a worse interior defender play for the Cavs, and we have had a lot of bad ones, and it's really not even close. He makes me miss Drew Gooden and Jamison for fucks sake.

Not trying to troll, at all, because I've begin to wonder if this guy is just hurt or something. We've heard rumblings about knee issues, but has he been dealing with back spasms for awhile?

I have no idea why anyone would really mock that. It would explain a lot, seriously.

I've not been seriously angry with Kevin, he's really had me worried for awhile. A guy just doesn't forget how to be an all-star caliber player. This goes beyond trying to fit in. We're into January, and he still looks like just a 6-10 version of Z.
