I often wonder what all the people are smoking in this thread.......this is always where the bat shit crazies are.

Last 10 games....in just 30 minutes a game:

49.6% FG, 37% 3PT, 21 PTS, 10 REB, 2 AST

I mean, what the fuck does he have to do to just be universally liked by our fan base?

Our second best player is giving us 20/10 on 50% shooting and there is still mass whining going on in this thread.

The nit picking of Kevin Love is easily the most idiotic thing that occurs on this board.

Pretty much.....

"Well SURE, he's averaging 20 and 10 but he still missed that layup against the Nets 3 weeks ago. "

I have never really put my finger on it......like I truly don't get why people fixate on the things that he doesn't do well. It's always been strange to me.....especially given how well he compliments our best player.

Do you remember how during LBJ's first stint here...all we EVER heard about was the mythical "stretch 4" needed for LBJ?

And then we go out and get ONE OF THE VERY BEST stretch 4s in the NBA for LBJ's return to Cleveland, and all that anyone can ever do is bitch about how he doesn't look like "fat Kevin."

My biggest beef is his week screens. Hurts the offense.

I don’t care about his weak screens as much as I do his refusal to box out.

Yeah that too. I hate the screens because he is supposed to be giving Lebron Space, but he isn't really. Those two just running a pick n roll or pop with a good screen should be really deadly.

Yep, and nobody wants to admit it, but Love is having a phenomenal year. He ranks as the 38th best player and 10th best center in terms of RPM, sounds average, however:

-His PER is 23.8. In today's NBA, that places Love somewhere between "definite all-star" and "weak MVP candidate" (Hollinger's terms).

-He has a 61.2% true shooting percentage, the highest of his career.

-He is on pace for 11.8 win shares. This would be the second highest of his career. Currently, this ranks as 15th best in the NBA. Additionally, his Player Impact Estimate ranks 23rd in the NBA.

-His "contested rebound percentage" is 41.6%, which is 38th/157 out of players who have played at least ten games, for at least ten minutes per game, with an average rebound distance of 4.5.

-His "contested offensive rebound percentage" is 67.7% with an average distance of 6.5 (due to how he spaces the floor). When adjusted for distance, this ranks as fifth best in the NBA.

-With the shot clock at less than four seconds, Love is quite literally the best post-up player in the NBA, averaging 1.545 points per possession.

-He averages 1.6 points per possession on cuts to the basket, third best in the NBA.

-He averages 1.29 points per possession on man-to-man spot-ups, and 1.091 points per possession on spot-ups in the post.

11,000 Points, 6800 Rebounds through first 600 career games (Love is at 598):

Lucas
Barkley
Olajuwon
Robinson
Shaq
Duncan
Love

11,000, 6800 Rebounds, 1400 Assists through first 600 career games:

Barkley
Robinson
Shaq
Duncan
Love

People hate him because he can't jump high enough to touch the top of the backboard.

Can he jump high enough to touch the bottom of it?

I don't know, can he?

Or maybe not?

It's more than that though. The guy oversell his injuries or he's affected by any pain. I'm expecting Love to roll on the floor after a papercut.
