Us asking for Dieng is like them asking for Waiters and Wiggins. Wasn't gonna happen . We're not the only ones that see his potential

Dieng was fantasy, it would have been cool, but when do you ever hear of a team trading their superstar, AND one of their most valuable young assets too.

We didn't have that much leverage, the deal had to revolve around Wiggins. They have no use for Waiters. It was simple, add Wiggins, or no Kevin Love.

I think the deal was fair for both sides. I do wonder if they would have parted with Dieng if we added that lottery from Memphis though. Then again, maybe the Cavs didn't want to include that.

Minny wasn't parting with Dieng. It kind of defeats the purpose of rebuilding through trade when you trade away what you consider your future defensive anchor

The only one who wont have to change his game is Lebron, he is already used to being the alpha of a big 3 on a contender.

Now Love's game should be great for what the cavs need, but andy and Lebron are better rebounders for their position than Love is used to having, which will cut into his numbers. Further, Love is used to getting more shots than he will get as part of this team, but that too who he will adjust too.

I would expect his numbers to drop like Bosh's or Garnet's numbers dropped because of usage. That being said, this is a good problem to have.

A good thing about Love's game compared to Bosh's is that he lives and feeds off of his teammates. Bosh was more of a face up 1on1 guy in Toronto.

See this is exactly why I think Dion starts as a 3rd distributor as well as breaking down defenses from cheating on Love with help. My best guess is it should allow Love to be free to use either side of the court based on defensive shading. To truly maximize his gifts on that Dan Marino long ball accuracy Love is blessed with as well.

I hate when people try to diminish Loves basket ball IQ comparing him to Ru Paul.
