How about...Agent Zero?

Chuckle smiley...

I think these defensive issues are getting overblown. The only real bad defender we have is Irving based on past performance.
While Love is not a plus defender in my book, he appears about average: able to hold his own on man to man and the glass to make up for his lack of rim protection

We can even run line-ups like this for periods of time: AV, Marion, Lebron, Waiters, Delly which feature plus defenders at every spot, good floor spacing, and still have guys with the ability to create. The one thing that could kill our defense is injuries: really dependent on AV for example to hold down the C spot. We have enough offensive firepower to do fine even we lose a guy like Irving for an extended period but defense we're more vulnerable

you get No Loooooooooovveeeeee

Looking forward to hearing loves first words for the press conference. Not long.

I'm no coach but in 2k I've been killing it by having Kyrie or bron bring the ball up the floor quickly, have Kevin love trailing the play at the 5 then stopping and taking an open 3.. He never misses...if you're reading this blatt, you're welcome :p

You joke but I can see this team dominating out of the secondary break. Remember that spurs secondary break where Parker or Manu bring the ball to one side then they let Duncan run to the three point line top of the circle to get the ball and then run their shooters to the weak side whilst having a duck in. We can use that kind of offense but love catching it there with his passing and shooting along with our weak side players ability to shoot and drive makes it a case of which good shot they take not will the generate a good look. Very differ from any cabs offense even in lebrons first run

Right it seems as the go to guy in Minny he was sometimes forced to jack up contested shoots. With Bron, Kyrie, Waiters, his game will open up and he might score a little less but his FG% will be much better I assume. Also people forget what a great passer the guy Is.

Regarding defensively, I think you'll be surprised what can happen when you're winning.

You'll see guys like Kyrie & Love, who haven't been known to have much interest in playing D, more than willing to show more effort, along with Dion taking the extra step to become the good defender he has the tools to be.

It's one of the ways we were a top defensive team with Mo Williams & Drew freakin Gooden :chuckle:

It's interesting Kevin has yet to say anything, I think he's saving it all for the press conference. Maybe he needs a few days to pinch himself to be sure he's not dreaming.

We've been in this state for over a month now.

Isn't he disappointed about not getting traded to the West Coast? And isn't he tired of freezing his balls off in the Midwest?

This is my theory. It is one thing to be on a bad team and conserve all of your energy for offense. I am sure that such a thing happens all the time with just about every player.

It is quite another to have LeBron James yelling at you 25 times a night because you rotated too late, or went under a screen. If he can yell at CB, and Wade, you bet he is going to yell at Kyrie and Love.

A lot of defense is effort and positioning. If you even have a basic understanding of the defensive scheme, and you have a high level of effort, you can be a decent defensive player.

Our young guys, Kyrie, Dion, Love, and Tristan, will have someone riding them 48 minutes a game, whether it is LeBron, or Blatt, and I expect everyone to give 100% on defense all game long.

I agree that will be fine defensively. However the idea that lebron will be yelling at love or kyrie when they miss a rotation is wrong. I don't think he's that sort of teammate tbh.

I've never seen him yell at d wade and chris bosh.
