It really would, but with the adjustments made using Real +/-, 60-62 wins seems more realistic.
Most, if not all, 8+ SRS teams in history have had a +9 to +10 when taking into account ORtg minus DRtg. I can truly see us with a league high ORtg but that DRtg would have to be stout enough for us to have enough working margins to win those close games to get to the 63-64-65 win zone.
On offense, the mixture of scoring ability on the break, off of penetration rim attacks and kick outs, off of post ups, and then off of ORebs is going to be lethal. The Heat had the second and third most efficient offenses of all time the last two years when you factor out Orebs. We might not be as efficient sans ORebs but of you add them in, we are going to demoralize teams by wearing down defenses via a myriad of offense of sets and lineups AND getting by getting cheap ORebs when the offense misfires. Andy and Love are fantastic Orebounders as is Marion.
Irving - James pick and rolls
James - Love pick and rolls
Irving - Love pick and rolls
James post ups with 3 or 4 shooters
Love post ups with 3 or 4 shooters (James has been one of the best catch and shoot players overture last two years)
Love and Marion and Andy and Tristan cleaning the messes when they occur.
Can't wait.
