He backpedaled on the Obama rally comment. Too lazy to google it. But I remember RCF blowing up over it, and then LBJ makes deflective comments about it that Ohio was always going to be his home, etc etc.

This was a classic case of Blatt over coaching again. There was absolutely no reason to bench him in the fourth and if am his agent I've already placed a call to Griffin.

It simply can't happen again and I doubt it does.

Plenty of reputable sources have said that Loves back was flaring up during the 4th, hence why he got taken out of the game.

I really won't be suprised to hear in off season Kevin needing some work on his back. It's probably been bothering him most of the year but he's playing through it as it's pretty hard to treat without a large window of own time

Kevin Love opens up about back troubles that have plagued debut season with Cavs

By David Zavac@DavidZavac on Mar 15, 2015, 11:33a

The three-time All-Star denied that he might need a procedure after the season to address any specific concerns but acknowledged that he has been dealing with stiffness and recurring back spasms since November.

"It's something I want to get right before we get to the playoffs, because that's what's most important at this point," Love, 26, told ESPN.com before Saturday's practice in preparation for Sunday's game against the Magic. "It's not something that's -- I'm going to have to address my body. But I address my body every offseason. I'll go from my toe all the way up to my head to try to figure out how to better my body for next season. It's not something that's going to bother me down the road."

Continued.....

Love has spent much of the season trying to prevent his challenge of fitting in and finding a rhythm from becoming a distraction to the team. The recent success on the court has made the process far less of a hassle.

"Everything is easier when you're winning," Love said. "So you can have some really good games, and then some tough times. The rotation might be different. But as long as you're winning, it kind of makes up for everything. And that's the kind of way it's been here."

Well, he's out tonight for rest, so it is safe to assume it was bothering him on Thursday.

I'd be fine with resting him for the rest of the season if it meant getting him 110% healthy for the playoffs. Or just play him in the big games at least.

Might be worth Love just sitting 2 weeks like LeBron did. Get everyone healthy for the playoffs.

Thank god Marion is back. He's probably not going to be great but he's a serviceable body. We'll probably see Perkins for 10-15 tonight. But between Tristan, Marion, Jones and LeBron, we can definitely get good enough minutes at the 4.

Watching the Clippers game, Griffin isn't scoring a lot but Love needs to watch some film on his effort and position on post ups. Looks so much better than Love getting pushed off the block.

Yeah I'd definitely rather not rest him every game, but a week or two of rest would probably do him some good. We have looked terrible when he is out. Hopefully tonight goes better than the last time (Chicago before ASB).

Resting Love vs. Orlando means he likely has played his last back-to-back game this season. There is only one left in April: @BOS, DET. He hasn't fared that well in the 2nd game of these pairs. I also hope they don't have to sit him for too long, but it would be good to have him as close to "right" going into the playoffs. Cavs have been given the luxury with other teams falling apart recently.
