My question is this, if Kevin leaves will you people hate him and process what we have lost for him or merely make excuses and blame his departure on primarily Blatt and be like cute teenage girls and say no regrets?

If he leaves I'll cry 24/7/365, become a fan of another team, blame LeBron for not letting him be part of the IG Pic Crew, and blame Mozgov for not bear hugging him so he couldn't escape while Griffin forced a signature out of him. Then I'll probably fly in from California to egg Blatt's condo, put up a shrine of candles at Kevins downtown condo. After that I'll either go Full Cobain or just cry some more.

So Gour, what stock do put into Love saying the following, this late into the season and this close to his upcoming leverage?

"I plan on being a Cavalier either way." - Kevin Love on if winning a title this year would effect where he plays next year.

That is far more direct and far more specific than you typically get out of any impending NBA FA before their final season, let alone 10 games before the end of the season.

Not discounting that until the ink dries he(and anyone who is an upcoming FA) has the leverage to do other things, but these are pretty strong public statements compared to the PC answers(or vague answers) that most NBA players give regarding their impending Free Agency.

I personally don't think Kevin Love leaves in the offseason.

But I also wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Still here. Just wondering. Do you just follow this Kevin Love thread, look for my account name, and then manually give all my posts disagree/old ratings, or do you go to my profile page and then look at my recent postings and rate all of them disagree/old? I've got to say it's a pretty effective system you've got going on. Bravo.

I haven't had a lot of time to post so I've been just reading through a lot of threads recently. A constant theme though seems to be you bitching about ratings over and over and over again...

If you're the only one STILL bitching about ratings, maybe you should just increase the quality of your posts? If you don't want to do that, or you're incapable, then just man up and stop caring about the ratings. Your bitching is annoying.

I'd be sad, but, as I've said before, if I were him, I'd consider leaving too - or forcing a change in our system/coaching staff.

And before anybody jumps down my throat and says I have it out for the coach, I personally support Blatt I don't want him fired; but I'm also not Kevin Love. If I were, I'd be pissed sitting on the bench and being relegated to the 3-pt line.

Hence my saying, I won't be surprised if something shakes this offseason one way or the other; especially if we come up short.

The more i read into loves circus is all the media twisting shit, if its cause of a pic or if love just states anything they will twist it,we have a mark in our back and thats part of being a great team. We are winning and thats all it matters and i bet you love is thinking the same thing, if hes unhappy he can gtfo seriously, yes we need him but he needs us more than the cavs do. Basketball is a team sport and im happy how we play yes sometimes we go iso but most of the time the ball moves and everyone touches it. If you look at the cavs body language everyone enjoys playing with each other and the chemistry is where its suppose to be. We are not regressing this team has shown more than flashes and weve shown any one can step up at anytime and its amazing. Im just tired of some of you just focusing on love and keeps drinking what the media is trying feed us. We are winning and thats all it matters and some of you just keeps complaining is sickening and annoying. Just enjoy it and i bet you love stays cause i bet you he sees it as well if im wrong ill donate 100 to the site, so mark this post if yall want. I think there will definitely be some time spent in the offseason by LeBron, Kevin, Kyrie, Blatt and his staff reflecting on this past season and playoffs and taking the time that is now available to them to expand and diversify the entire offense, with a large amount of that being more ways to run the offense through Kevin at times. But I think all parties recognize how lucky they are and just how much talent it on this roster to be taken advantage of. I don't think anyone is going to bail after one year when the opportunity to build off of this season is so appealing and better than virtually any other situation any of the involved could seek out elsewhere. Especially if we believe that they are all driven primarily by the legacy of winning and being champions.

Love is a big fan of those 80s Lakers and Celtics teams. He understands and has a historical appreciation that on teams stacked with talent like that, there has to be a pecking order, but that over time and years, you work out all the kinks and find the best way to dominate the league. Just highly doubt, based on that, on the money, and on his public comments, that he runs away from the opportunity to be one of the core pieces on a team that can have a 4-6 year run like those 80's Lakers and Celtic squads. Especially after putting in so much hard work and sacrifice in year one.
