Didn't read any of that. I posted six lines of text to you. There is no need to multiquote that. You've been constantly bringing this up all season. You thrive on worry and panic. That's just reality. And you're going to keep bringing it up.

I read this post and it still seems to boil down to the same thing; Love won't leave because he doesn't want to, and he won't go to the Lakers because they aren't as good as the Cavs.

Again, for one we don't know what Kevin Love does or doesn't want; that's why I don't really like playing that game.

Secondly, I don't put anything past a guy who is coming off a 26/12 season to the one we just saw.

But I'm with Stannis on this... we really should table the discussion until after the playoffs. I think whatever happens in the next few weeks will be a very large factor in all this, so there's no point in discussing it now.

Agreed that it should be tabled and agreed the my post bordered on TLDR status, but one other element I thought I conveyed was this:

As it specifically relates to the Lakers and pairing up with Rondo, there is an almost certainty that the Lakers do not have the ability this offseason to create space to fit 2 Max contracts in

Totally agree, but I'd be shocked if Rondo got anywhere close to a max contract.

My post was too long?

Oh okay.. how's about this:

Fuck off.

Concise enough for you?

My one line answer to your one line response is I think that while he's not worth Max at his age/mileage and with his limitations, he will still find a team that will give it to him.

Rondo, Kobe, Love, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, Ryan Kelly, their first round pick. At that point, they will be over the cap and essentially have just the MLE and vet min to fill out the other 7-8 spots on their roster. On top of that, their only two promising young players(Clarkson and Randle) play the exact same positions that Rondo and Love do

If there's any roster Byron Scott knows how to coach, it's one full of point guards and power forwards!

Love is about to do what not everyone had done: witness a Cavaliers home playoff game. There is no better atmosphere anywhere. It's why I keep on renewing season tickets. It's simply the best. The crowd, the noise, the towel waving. The moments. He will witness it; experience it and then cherish it. It will keep him coming back. It's what ultimately drove LeBron back home. It's just the best.

And Kevin doesn't know it yet. But he will. And he will fall in love with Cleveland...

This is why I miss Cleveland so much!

It's posts like these that make me really miss Heat fans

At least they liked the players on their team

What the fuck is this?

What makes you think I don't like Kevin Love....

I was literally pimping the idea of Love or Melo coming to the Cavaliers with LeBron for the entire offseason when folks thought I was crazy...

You're out of your mind if you think I don't "like" Kevin Love on the Cavs...

What about Kevin Love do you like the most? It has to be the eyes, right? They are soooo blue....

The only comparable situation where a player gave up loads of cash to leave a likely winner is Howard. There are couple of big differences though:
-Howard left an aging Kobe to go with a more talented team. I don't see any team out there waiting capable of getting close to max level deal even comparable to Irving and Lebron. (The Lakers must really hate Gilbert for getting involved in that Paul deal)
-I just don't see Lebron pulling a Kobe. Sure he may send out an ill-advised tweet but nothing like this:
When the Lakers were trying to re-sign Dwight Howard in 2013, Kobe showed up to the team's meeting with him in gym clothes and proceeded to lecture Howard about what it takes to win. Howard ended up signing with Houston for $30 million less than he would have gotten with the Lakers.

Just don't expect Lebron to pull a Kobe and call Love essentially a pussy in an off-season meeting
