This thread in a nutshell:

"I think he could be done. But he may not be. He could play or maybe he won't."
I think the funniest thing about this thread is people saying things like, "just guessing, but in my armchair opinion, he's done." Then people react to this armchair opinion with things like, "ugh, I hate to hear that. That's terrible news."

What? It's not news at all. It's just baseless speculation. No one knows anything.

No more of this joke regarding Mozgov. Too many.

When I wrecked my knee my Orthopedic specialist almost demanded that I get a second opinion. There were certain approaches he was not comfortable with in my case (knee replacement) and he had me talk to another knee guy to learn more about the treatment he wasn't in favor of so could make a more informed decision. Second opinions aren't necessarily about disliking the initial diagnosis- if I were Love's agent I'd set up a second opinion outside of the cle clinic just to make sure nothing was missed- big money is at stake.

KLove is seeking 2nd opinion like any other person in this situation would. If it was a tear we'd likely know by now. He hopefully wants to see if he can play in 2-3 weeks.

If his shoulder was totally fucked what would be the point of getting a second opinion?

It's a smart move. You would think NBA doctors are better than average, but then you see those quacks operating on Durant and Westbrook...

Playing devil's advocate here.

Kobe got a 2nd opinion for his torn labrum before opting for surgery and missing the rest of the season. It happens.

Let's just hope the second opinion comes from a doctor in Miami.

Right?!!

Right?!!

*tap tap*

Is this thing on?

Damien, I was looking for you....still holding true on what you've heard? Anything new?

Nope. But because of what I heard I subscribe closer to the theory that it was assessed that he could indeed play and is just making sure.

Fingers crossed.
