I'm obviously not being serious. You can't physically play through the injury Love has unless you're crazy or just going out there to take up space.

Oh I know that. Just saying it would bring more debate about giving up on Wiggins.

Cause part of the reason for giving up on Wiggins was so that we can win this year....and Love isnt healthy.

Its just tough to see that name come up during this time. Happy we got Love. Terrible luck. But we truly need positive thoughts. Starting to think about Wiggins, etc is going to make more people pissed.

Hey on the plus side, the pressure is basically off now.

Cavs have nothing to lose. Underdog mentality.

na. pressure is always on lebron. its win a title or the season is a failure no matter what at this point

Since is the Love thread, I'll ask it: He'll be ready for the beginning of next season, right? He's obviously out the rest of this postseason, and I'm guessing he'll have surgery. I don't know what his injury is compared to Shump's, but Love should be back for the start of next year, right?

Do you remember what happend last time we went to chicago without love *shudders*

Guessing the team doesn't want to say he's done for the season because they don't want the players to give up, but they know.

Whatever. Its a shame because this cavs team was one of the best teams I've ever seen. The team from January 15th up to the Brooklyn loss was special. Its a shame we won't get to see s potential legendary series with the spurs because of some ass.

Torn Lebrum means he's pretty much done for the year right ?

I remember D.Howard played through one during his one year on the Lakers and it bothered him constantly.

Melo and Kobe both played in the playoffs with this. Granted Melo's was just a light labrum tear.

This is why you don't trade the biggest stud with star power in the draft for a spot up soft PF just looking for a payday. Thankfully Love was useless most of the year anyway unless LBJ and Kyrie were off, which won't happen in the PO.

Go TT! A real hustle player.

Explain how it isn't?

Besides the fact we won't have a lotto pick to significantly improve our team.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just curious on your answer. Obviously this team got valuable experience together. I guess that counts for something? We need to bring everybody back and add more, though.

Well considering how much there is between the polar opposites of wasted year and champions, no I just don't think it was a wasted year. Obviously this is a monumental sucky blow to our team and to us as fans. To the point where I'd label the past 9 months and the games still to come as a "wasted season" Hell no.

I'll save the team building and potential moves for another post. There are plenty of ways that this team returns stronger, better, deeper, younger, more athletic, and closer next year and beyond.

This isn't the time or the place to talk about Wiggins, bro...

Long term, does this make it more likely he opts into his contract for next year, being it's guaranteed?

Based not on being a doctor, but a skilled user of Wikipedia, it seems like inferior glenohumeral dislocations are, like, the rare, very bad kind. An asshole playing for the Boston Celtics has to exert a lot of pressure against your shoulder to create one of those. A quote from the Wiki on shoulder dislocation (confirmed by a few other sites):

"Inferior dislocation is the least likely, occurring in less than 1%. This condition is also called luxatio erecta because the arm appears to be permanently held upward or behind the head.[8] It is caused by a hyper abduction of the arm that forces the humeral head against the acromion. Such injuries have a high complication rate as many vascular, neurological, tendon, and ligament injuries are likely to occur from this mechanism of injury."
This sucks so bad. We have been waiting ALL YEAR for this time and it has been ruined in a moment.
