Fuck. I love Kevin Love. I love how he has embraced Cleveland, and represent us like he does. Man, I really hope he retires a Cavalier.

he should.. I'd bet a lot of $ that he is here until he is at least 30.. he will have a 33-34 yr old LeBron then who will still be a great passer and a fricking 26 yr old Kyrie who will be a scoring machine and passer still.. Cavs could have a Spurs like run with Kyrie playing the Parker role and LeBron and Love playing the elder roles for 7-8 more years

Scary thought is that 26, Kyrie will be in his prime as well.

Yep... and you know Gilbert will be spending to make this roster much more complete than it even is this year.. we will have a legit shot blocking C for the next 5-7 years by next year if not sooner..I'd bet a lot on that too.. have a chance at an excellent run.. Love isn't going to leave that

Looking at the trajectory we're on I don't know how anyone could have serious concerns about integrating everyone into the offense. We're very steadily and noticeably improving in all facets on the offensive side, and defensive as well to a lesser extent.

Are you sure about that?

I mean, how could he say no to less money on a putrid team in a very deep west with a superstar who has maybe two seasons left in him, neither of which will be anything more than him chucking up shot after shot and passing the ball to nobody?

Why in the world would he want to continue to play with the best player on the planet -- who is regarded as one of the most unselfish on-court players to ever play the game -- and one of the best up-and-coming point guards in the NBA who won't even hit his prime for three more years?

Love's like, "No, I'm good, I am going to live in overpriced Southern California and lose year after year but it's okay because, you know, Los Angeles."

I mean the Lakers are a shoo-in in this race obviously. It has beaches and stuff. DUR

He'll be here at least as long as LeBron is.

It's really bothering me how teams are getting away with predicating their offense on attacking Love, even in late-game situations (lob to Sully came in mind, seemed to be drawn up to get a foul).

Cavs sacrificed spacing to come back in that game but with Love you really gotta pair him up with a weakside defender to help him out on some of the more stocky bigs.

we need a legit big that can block shots next to Love.. still think Robin Lopez next year would be great

I think a player like Tyson Chandler would be the ultimate compliment to love, extremely long and active defensively which covers up some of the few weak spots that Love has.

Not that I think we could get him but that is the type of player we should be looking for with Dion + the haywood expiring to tinker with.

Scoring isn't going to be our problem.

His jumper has only clicked in the 4th quarter of the NO game. The Cavs have been getting him good looks but he has to start burying them. That's how well make up for his lack of rim protection

Kevin will figure it all out, but he's been underwhelming so far. There is no denying that. At least he keeps rebounding like a beast.

Love certainly needs to find a shooting rhythm and his defense needs a lot of work, but those 15 rebounds tonight were absolutely crucial. Especially in a one-point game.
