Klay Thompson suffers concussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The crazy thing is that the Rockets had every chance to win Game 5. Imagine the Warriors would have been without Thompson for Game 6 and 7.

What's really incredible to me is that the media is more up in arms about the air pressure in a football than player's long term health and safety.

What was lost in that super bowl? Nobody's life!

Even one concussion, if you come back too quickly can stymie the brain's function, the results are definitely not immediate.

There's a reason people who have been concussed multiple times have trouble speaking, thinking, remembering.

The fact that Golden State is sweeping this under the rug, and has a history of such occurrences they need to be investigated and penalized.

This is really bush league by Golden State, and it makes the NBA as a whole look really ignorant/negligent by being so casual about the matter when the rest of the world understands the severity concussions can have.

What blows my mind is that the W's had that game in hand. They definitely didn't need Klay back out there.

Makes the Cavs handling of Kyrie in Game 6 of the Bulls series look even more brilliant.

The media have a narrative that they want to tell. And it is not about Golden State being a shady franchise. So we are not going to hear anything else about this.

No way should the media write negatively about the darlings of the NBA, lest you lose your credential.

This thread is the most blatant homerism I've seen around here in a while.
while this clearly could benefit the cavs if klay doesnt play. you know who this really benefits the most? Klay. the how purpose of this is to protect the player. I mean for fucks sake how many football players have ended up killing themselves over lost of functionality because of multi head injuries. concussions are not something to fuck with

God forbid people be concerned about a human beings health.

Edit: and if our organization wver does anything so reckless, i'll be right here. It's interesting about Barnes, and that Curry had the same contusion. Basketball isn't more important than a guys life. We made Kyrie sit out multiple games for tendenitous, very different approaches.
