Kyrie Irving

I can't remember him to be actually pissed with his play. No frustration showed, he just seems to go out play some ball and if it goes it goes if not, so be it.

This is why I kinda want Parker. We need a real leader and face of the franchise.

Trade Kyrie

Yeah, I would say you have him confused with Waiters regarding that "gets up defensively for big games" remark.

Let me stick my finger in the air on the Kyrie winds and just ask an extremely hypothetical. I doubt it would EVER happen, but let's say the Sixers call and offer the #3 and Michael Carter-Williams for Irving. Do you take that trade?

that would be mighty tempting

For the record, I would be shocked if that happened. I don't expect it. I'm just getting a feel for what people think of Kyrie's value.

Me, I would take that trade. It could solve the Kyrie/Waiters issue (though that could be recreated in a big way if Parker would be picked at 3). The thought of having Embiid, Wiggins, MCW, Waiters, and Bennett/Tristan is a pretty nice one with a strong, young core.

Again, I do not think the Sixers would offer the trade, but I think that would be a tempting offer.

If we know Wiggins will be there at 3 I would probably do it. Then hopefully we could move Carter-Williams for someone that can shoot.

I think that would be an awful trade. MCW put up a high-volume of scoring last year on an atrocious team. He was not very efficient. Giving them a two-time all-star for MCW and another unproven pick is really not the direction I hope to see taken.

Kyrie isn't getting traded unless a team makes a mega offer

Two time all-star doesn't really mean anything. 1. The all-star game is a popularity contest. 2. I'd argue that Wall should have been the starting PG last year. Rondo and Rose have also been hurt.

Yep. Because there's a good chance #3 turns out better than Irving. Getting Embiid/Wiggins or Embiid/Parker sounds pretty dynamic going forward.

Kyrie needs to learn to use his offensive skills to accentuate the point guard position rather than vice versa. Right now, he's putting his talent in front of his position. I watched last night as Greg Popovich pulled Tony Parker aside and gave him positive reinforcement for the game he just played even though he didn't have crazy stats. It came off as if they were father and son.

Kyrie needs a good coach. The guy is young and hasn't learned the mentality of a point guard and how he should carry himself in relation to his position. Once that is accomplished, skies the limit.

Notice how the "Kyrie wants out" talk has died out? If this were true, it would be reaching crescendo pitch right about now, with his ability to sign a max deal only less than three weeks away.

Gee, can it be because anyone who tweets or predicts that Kryie wants out will look awfully foolish real soon?

Why would you trade KI for an unproven college player? No way that is enough, I think you would need 3 and 10 to even get griffin on the phone. People buy into this potential way to much on the board. We have a 22 year old all star.

In also think to many people live in fantasy nba 2k world, and forget about the business side of the cavs. KI is a face of the franchise type player, is very likable, marketable, and is a name that draws in fans. It would be a PR nightmare to trade him unless we got an equal level talent or star back.
