Going through this thread again and I'm so glad the Cavs never actually entertained trading Kyrie....

Re: Trading Kyrie Irving
This thread should be deleted, quickly. It was a disgrace to begin with, and it is just flat out embarrassing for the community.
That trade netted them 2 first rounders, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Timofey Mosgov, and one other scrub (Renaldo Balkman I think). Heck even if we were able to get someone on Gallinari's level and another project for Kyrie I would totally take that deal. I think the offers would pour in for Kyrie, to the point at least where we'd have to spend time to examine all of them and give it serious thought.
Yup. It's weird because Kyrie is exactly the type of player you hope to get with a top draft pick. And yet people were saying we could trade him for a draft pick and grab Exum or Smart instead. Look how they're doing now.I'm not naming names...
But there were definitely long-time posters in there suggesting we trade Irving for a draft pick...
But I'm not fond of public shaming, so I'll leave it at that.

trading Kyrie now could net you Hayward in return. Waiters, Karasev, Hayward, Thompson and Bynum, that's a playoff team right there.
