LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm curious who decided to emphasize this today. The footage has been out there for 6 days at this point, and people noticed at that time that he covered his mouth with his jersey. I wonder why is it coming out now.

There are arguments to made that today's flurry is created by the media, people associated with LeBron, people associated with the Cavs, anyone who hates the Cavs, a bored audio engineer, and so on.

the audio without the announcer was included on a video posted by NBA on december 25th. People commented that part of the audio on it on the youtube page that same day. There is another video, which is a clip from the TV broadcast, which has the longer discussion, but the announcer is talking over them. It would be nice if we could get a cleaned up version of the whole conversation. see the 1:20 mark here

Wow. It's sad in here. His quote was to reference their play when they play against one another. And hopefully they play again playoffs and Christmas next year.

I'm gonna play this clip for a buddy when I see him later, w/o telling him the context and see what he thinks is said. I want someone's honest best guess that hasn't already read the quote.

Haven't said this at all since the return, but for the first time I definitely feel this appropriate:
Fuck LeBron James.
I don't even care what he meant by the quote. All the sophomoric giggling, the covering of his mouth with the jersey...the man is an attention whore to the nth degree.

I'm with you. I can't make out that phrase, and the fact is I read the "quote" prior to listening, so now I hear what the quote said it was. I wish I had watched it before reading the quote so I had no influence on what it was I heard.

I tried to listen with a open mind and I swear I heard "We are going to get better" Plus he can't reunite with the Heat until 2016 or in two years. So I doubt he will bolt after this year so I assume he is going to give a two year trial and if don't get better he may then leave?

Enough about the clip. It's irrelevant. He's not going anywhere. Is he playing tonight or not? That's all that anyone should really be concerned with about Lebron at the moment.

And I really don't want to fire Blatt if LeBron is already planning his reunion with Wade. He would be the perfect coach for a young team.

What "bigger and better things" would that lead to for the two of them? That makes zero sense.
I take as one of two ways. Either he is wishing the Heat luck going for a title. it can't be him playing with him again because by he time he could Wade will be done and LeBron will be regressing along with Bosh. That team would be a first round exit.

Skolnick is thinking he and Wade are talking about some sort of partnership after their done playing, possibly team ownership. He thinks the "if we aren't better this year" is isntead something like "when we're done with this here."

I'm not gonna keep worrying about it though. I legitimately do not know what he said in that phrase, and w/o knowing it's dumb to worry about it.

Sigh. I wish Lebron would just shut up and play. Avoid all this media drama and baiting questions, do your job on the court and let your play speak for itself.

Sports are supposed to be an escape from the drama, not a soap opera.

His behavior throughout that game was horrible. Joking with the Heat bench while Kyrie limped to the free throw line is the angriest I've been with him this season. Until now.

Hate to rain on the conspiracy parade, but Ethan Skolnick (Heat beat writer) is dousing this thing with some cold water. They have been talking for some time about doing something after retirement.

I imagine we are gonna hear Lebron give a similar explanation tonight.

Make sure you read the tweet Ethan is replying to.

Yeah that is the only thing I can think of is A. He says their teams have to play better and meet in the play offs. Or B. They are planning on doing some business together. The timing of all this nonsense is amazing.
