Positivity, breeds positivity! When I was about the board my plane for LA & then Cleveland Thursday morning (Wednesday night in Cleveland), and read that he was missing Portland and doubtful for Sacramento, I immediately feared the worst.
I'm not necessarily a "LeBron fan," per say, but deep down, although I had accepted that he wouldn't be playing, I knew deep down that my trip to Cleveland would only be 90% conplete if I missed LeBron take the floor.
In retrospect, the whole back and forth, anticipating, hoping, tweeting etc including finding out that he would be playing only minutes before tipoff sending me into a frenzy was perfect. It actually makes for a perfect story and fantasy-esque "Disney-ending" to the trip lol! Just wonderful.
I just have to thank him for playing. It was definitely selfish on my part as if he wasn't right and I wasn't there, I wouldn't be overly concerned about him not playing. But the fact that he played and did his gift has given me the greatest gift.
Not only did I get to see and cheer for my basketball team live tonight, but I got to see the greatest player of all time. And that's something way too special for anyone to take for granted!
