LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hopefully the result of this game is that James works to get his FT % up to 80, and also accepts that Irving needs to be the primary end of game ballhandler/closer.

They argue Lebron hit Harden first, did not get called a foul, so Harden tried to force the issue for the refs to call the defensive foul. I agree with the no call given the situation.

Eh i think it's pretty obvious Harden ran into Lebron and initiated the hook.

wut?....

It was one game. LeBron is still the best player in the world, no way should Kyrie be the "primary end of game ballhandler/closer". That's ridiculous.

The only thing I hope LeBron takes away from this game is that he doesn't have to do everything alone as he has teammates capable of hitting big shots and coming through late in games. LeIso is cool every now & then but the frequency which we saw it yesterday is something that should never happen again.

Harden's a great player: doesn't mean I have to like him or like his style of play. Sure it takes skill and talent to get in the lane but more often then not he throws his body or arm into the defender and so he initiates the contact but it's the opponent who gets the foul. He reminds me of of how Malone used to do his straight leg kick on his drives before the NBA decided to put a damper on that. Of course, this was legal and all but didn't like that play and I don't like Harden's style either.

The hook no call on Lebron was a perfect example of this as Harden is the one who puts his arm in between Jame's body and arm and if Lebron put any downward force he would have been called for a foul (or frankly if it was a non-superstar like James)

He didn't run into Lebron. Lebron reached in with the left hand, which is suicide against Harden because Harden is pampered with the foul calls and did everything he could for Lebron to pick up the foul. Thank goodness the refs didn't go there.

The only stat im concerned about is Lebron being 0/4 in his recruits. They are absolutely brutal.

Excellent post.

LeBron may not win the MVP and may not have had a great [efficiency] night but he's still the best player in the NBA. You give the ball to the best player in the NBA 11 out of 10 times in clutch situations. He won't make bad decisions every night.

James Jones wasnt supposed to get the mins he's getting. Mike Miller has been a huge disappointment. However, I still believe he'll come through in a playoff game for us. Perk just gives us another post defender.

Marion has been disappointing. But again I think once healthy he can be solid in the playoffs.

I'm actually all for signing Ray Allen now.

For the nights when JR Smith is off shooting. He worked with LeBron on his FT shooting last playoffs.

More importantly LeBron would never shoot the technical FT over Ray (didnt do it in Miami). :chuckle:

So Kevin Love doesnt make it 1/5? Well after looking at the Love thread you'll be convinced LeBron is 0/5.

Agree to disagree, I guess. To me, Lebron really didn't move at the beginning of the contact. Even the announcers during the game were totally confused but seemed reluctant to criticize Harden. At the very least, this should have been a travel since his pivot foot clearly moves twice.

0-6 actually, because he didn't think Wiggins was much of anything apparently.

I'm still extremely frustrated today over yesterday's game. This team will bounce back and will make a hard push for the two seed when Kyrie returns.

I'm just pissed off. Partly because LeBron fucking blew the game and needs to employ the help of his teammates. Also partly because James Harden's a pussy, people are calling him the MVP on Twitter, and because the refs somewhat boned us yesterday.

Some of these posts make think the poster has been kicked in the groin too much.

I am amazed at the hate Lebron gets for having 1 off game.

Did anyone happen to watch this team during that time he was out?

He is the only thing standing between us and a 7-8th seed and early exit from the playoffs. He carries this team on his back in ways he shouldn't have to considering he has 2 other "max" players on this team, and yet people are still piling on him.
