LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The wait and see leads to speculation as he does have the ABILITY to leave.
God forbid he gives the Cavs the same commitment he gave to Miami to eliminate all doubt.
He did give his social media "pledge" to the Cavs recently with his comments, but ESPIN is always looking for a story and will run with this.
It would also help if the Cleveland media/radio wasn't so goddam paranoid.

He can't commit long term as long as the salary cap situation is unsettled. Not only does he want to maximize his pay, but as the VP of the union he has kind of committed to not cutting any special deals with teams for a lower salary, so he has to go for the max. I think that's appropriate after the owners screwed the players so badly on the last negotiations.

Ink on a contract sounds better to me than a PR article.

He can't put ink on a contract until July 9th. When he does, it will be a 2 year max deal with a player option.

Rcf is literally the only place I actively go to for sports news. And it eliminates a lot of irritation from my life.

I'd suggest it.

You mean you don't go to Cleveland's local sports talk radio? You don't like listening to Rizzo on the Really Big Show asking Brian Windhorst if there's any way the Cavs can get Jimmy Butler? Frankly, I get most of my news from callers that don't know what restricted free agency is. Helps keep me constantly on edge.

I didn't even read it.

What does this have to do with the fact that it will be talked about all over the sports world until he signs?
Honestly I could give a shit less what the sports world wants to talk about. LeBron is the best player in the league, he's always going to get this kind of attention, and whatever team he's on will be contending for a title for years to come. And that team he's on is the Cleveland Cavaliers, he's here to stay. If some crappy media personnel needs to write click bait articles in hopes of getting some idiot Facebookers and Tweeters to share their their sad attempt at journalism, so be it. I could care less.

So you've put me on ignore too....

Nice, Oi.

I would never block anyone on here. Anyone that others would think of blocking, I'm generally entertained by for the same reasons others can't stand them.

...you racist, anti-semitic, anti-gay, science denying, oil-bathing prick.

A long time ago, I read this book with these two characters, one of whom made it his mission in life to destroy everything the other tried to achieve. Always indirectly and behind the scenes, but the fact that he was trying was well-known.

So at one point after something particularly rotten had happened, the two characters happen to bump into each other, and the guy who's been trying to get the other guy says gleefully "go ahead -- tell me exactly what you think of me. Say whatever you want about want about me -- nobody else is here. So -- what do you think of me?"

The other guy looks at him and says "but I don't think of you." And walks away.

In other words, ignoring is a way of not feeding trolls, and if I've got anyone on ignore, it's cause I think they're a troll.

Cue the casual fan overreaction.

Yawn. Le Batard loves to gloat about how much power LeBron has but anyone with half a brain knows that this is nothing.
