LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I know it's obvious but damn Lebron is really really good :chuckle:. Don't scrutinize guys, even guys who get the Finals, as much as when they are on other teams and it's a bit of shock when you see it again in a Cavs uniform

LeBron's back looked to be bothering him in the game. He wasn't getting any lift at all. I'm a bit worried considering how many miles he has on him.

Pretty sure that was purposeful...if LeBron absolutely had to he can jump, but there's no point exerting himself like that at this point in time. He needs to play smart.

Exactly, LeBron wasn't even playing hard defensively. He was taking it easy as he should. LeBron was probably playing at 50%

And he still dominated, plus some really nice dunks to throw a bone to the fans.

That pass to Kyrie in the corner... This team is going to be fun to watch

Sam The Bullshit Whisperer's opinion regarding Lebron's back (of course he is not a doctor ;)):

"played with it last season" is not reassuring to me, since it means it's a long-term thing and also probably contributed to Lebron having an off year on the defensive side especially last year. In general Lebron last year was not quite at the levels he had reached in the previous 2-3 years, although of course that still left him a great player.

Seems like yesterday. I was at the game and after Lebron made this three pointer, I turned around and hugged Andy V's large brother. One of my favorite moments in Cleveland sports history that I witnessed.

Too bad Stern allowed Rashard to tear us apart despite failing two drug tests. The failing tests were not announced until the following year, as were the suspensions. I think Stern wanted LeBron out of Cleveland, and Rashard going off helped his plan.
This is by far the most bothersome thing that happened during the LeBron era.

I won't get into it again, but we would have won that series if he was suspended, like he should have been. Then we go on to play the Lakers, and possibly win a title.

I honestly can't believe that just flew under everyone's radar completely.

You can see the dunk by LeBron at the 46 second mark. He really wasn't getting any lift at all. Hope his back is alright.

Windy was on with Goldhammer and Golden saying that there's nothing to make of it. Said that Bron has had this since he played with the Cavs so he does yoga and works with his personal trainer before every practice and game for 40 minutes doing stretches so that it doesn't become a problem.

Although he didn't get that high he was relatively close to the FT line

What would it take for LeBron to have a 30+ PER and 18+ Win shares this season? If key players like Kyrie and Love misses some games, LeBron will put up big numbers. The MVP award is his to lose this season. He has the storyline, his team is the most talked about team in the league and now it's just up to him to lead the team as one of the league's best top 3 teams and put up the individual numbers to get it.

Durant is definitely going to go after a second MVP award, but the way Westbrook performed in the playoffs last year(arguably better than Durant in the post season), he's going to step on Durant's toes a little bit and prove he's just as valuable to the team, which you can make a legit case for him when he's healthy. I just don't want to see Durant win it back-to- back. He'll win the award again, i just don't want it to be this year.

Fear not. I was at the scrimmage and what is not shown in the video too well was that LeBron was trailing Kyrie with the ball and Kyrie passed it to LeBron between his legs backwards to LeBron. Lebron got the ball at the last second and right in front of the basket. It was essentially a dunk from a standing position, not a running start. He dunked lots of other balls yesterday with good lift and moved well.

During the playoffs in Cleveland, LeBron was routinely stretched out lengthwise on the side court when he was not in. Is this a good thing? No. Is it anything new for LeBron? No.

I just want one of our players to win the Finals MVP Award. Cause that would mean we are the Champions.
