Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Blatt is going to blow his top soon if he didn't tonight.

Safe to say Mozgov and JR weren't sparking this team. LeBron is the heartbeat. The rest are just the human body put together so to put it. Minus the testicles because nobody has them. Pussies.

If we are relying on Lebron to take us from absolute trash to a playoff team, we are doomed. We should still be winning games with this talent.

I'm so glad I didn't pay for NBA league pass.

I debated whether or not to order it mainly because so many games are on national TV. I did though because I was so excited about this team. I remained patient for so long because I was hoping we were close to really turning it around. Now, I think unless something changes soon I paid $200 to watch a 6th seed playoff team. Only upside, I can watch other teams play good basketball, while waiting for us to play good basketball.

Wow. I am very disappointed. This squad even sans LBJ has studs out there and yet they continue to show little to no heart or hustle and have been outplayed more often than not. I am sorry, LBJ coming back isn't going to completely fix this. This is internally brewing and someone needs to stop being politically correct to the media and say it like it truly is. Until the players, themselves, feel embarrassed, this type of "effort" will continue.

I am just amazed at how this squad has yet to find any sort of similance on either the offensive or defensive side of things. Injuries, trades and whatever are all excuses and despite all of those you should still compete and I don't even see that most of the time. I thought that Warriors game was a step in the right direction, they at least competed. Tonight's "game" was a joke and until someone brings up the elephant in the room, its going to continue to happen.

This has got to be mental, I think they are making those injuries, trades, etc the excuses to not compete and expect things to be fine and dandy at full strength. It's not how this works, I am, by no means, proclaiming this season a waste, they can still turn it around and I expect something. But by their track record this season, I can't count on that.

WTF? It has to be something. Has the coach lost them or better yet, ever reached them?

Plenty of time in the East and I am not hitting the panic button yet but at least compete, show some dignity.

Operation get coach Blatt fired is into full swing! Way to go players! I'm happy that as a whole the rich, spoiled, entitled & uneducated athletes will get their way! LeBron can handpick one of his buddies to coach the team and make another poor decision to be added to the list of poor decisions that have been made by this franchise.

LeBron must be the only guy in the history of the game who gets blamed inspite of not playing a single minute in the last ten odd games.

Is there any way we can go back to last year? Or the 27 game losing streak?

It was way better when we were shitty and had no talent/expectations..

It's so much fucking worse when we're shitty and have a shit load of talent and high expectations.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkkk.

I don't think losses are what is pissing many fans off. Its the fact that the team can hardly stay in the game till the last minute or so. It seems like a blowout early in the fourth quarter regularly and that is what is an issue.

I'm baffled. I'm truly baffled. Miller guarding Ben McLeMore? I don't care if it was Blatt, Lue, anybody should step up and say "what the fuck is Mike Miller doing guarding Ben McLemore?"

Jones and Miller are eating up two roster spots.

Kevin Love misses a lot of timely shots, he's looking pretty bad, I can't defend it any more.

The stats he does get, they might as well be meaningless because in the biggest moments of the game he can not, and probably will never be able to be trusted to get us a stop. He's physically overmatched quite often. It feels like a coin toss with this guy. He makes positive contributions, but he isn't the Bosh role player I thought he'd so seamlessly be.

Boshs' advantage was that length, he was truly a gangly dinosaur looking creature.

Even Andy's rebounds and Tristan's seem like they have more meaning when they get them.

Granted, we're not using Kevin properly, because you can see the shots he has in his repertoire; all useful shots to have someone capable of draining at a moments notice.

There's not enough action. We should be running pick and rolls and pick and pops to death. We're running a whole lot of nothing except selfish uninspired offense.

LeBron isn't going to fix this. That's what people need to understand, you can't expect LeBron to fix everything; he adds another incomprehensible variable that can sway good or bad. Physically Bron just isn't there.

Irving is still every bit as talented scoring the ball, but he's not a true PG and his defense is inconsistent.
LeBron could see where this is going, he knew we hadn't reached our darkest point yet. LeBron probably knew this was going to get real ugly when he fully understood Love's defense and Irving's lack of natural playmaking ability. Add in the transient roster, the injuries and this is what you have.

I'd like to think chemistry will solve everything, but we're really seeing the problem of "the weakest link" where no matter how good our chemistry might become; if there's one weak guy, sharks smell blood.

Team chemistry and not use to playing with each other thats understandable if they were just turning the ball over and throwing it away . But what does chemistry have to do with effort. I can go to a gym and run 5 on 5 with some dudes that I never met before in life that won't stop me from crashing the boards or hustling or playing defense or trying to get my teammates involved or trying to win the game. I don't see none of that currently we aren't making any winning plays building towards winning basketball.

I'd be a lot more bummed about tonights effort if I didn't have to stop watching after halftime to go see Louis CK at the Forum in LA.

Wish you guys could have all done the same instead of having to watch the second half.

It's obvious that LeBron is the straw that stirs the drink. Kyrie and Love both still do not know how to lead a team and more important, how to absorb a blow and push back. This team, especially w out LeBron, just crumbles when a team makes a run on them. Thats when the effort stops and the body language gets poor.

I still firmly believe that LeBron/Marion/Shumpert all being out matters, and that having too new guys playing matters significantly on the defensive end, where the communication and understanding is not yet up to speed for them.

There is no point in trying to put a silver lining on tonight, so I certainly am not going to argue with those that are upset and down on the team.

I do believe though that we really have no other choice but to let the team get healthy and let the new guys get comfortable with what they're supposed to do on both ends. And still definitely believe that 40+ games is enough time for them to get things figured out.
