Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Start Bennett and play Karasev

Fire Mike Brown.

Have Sergey call up the KGB to take out Jarrett Jack.

Move Thompson/Zeller to the bench. Move Hawes/Bennett to the starting lineup.

Mike Brown and Jarrett Jack need to be sent on a one way trip to the Amazon Rainforest, never to be seen again.

Karasev and Bennett need more minutes. Luol Deng and Tristan Thompson need less minutes.

Let that European assistant we have take over until the search for Mike Brown is called off, and then try to hire George Karl or Lionel Hollins.

I'm personally sick and tired of this team losing at home to what I see as "inferior" teams. Yes, there are some guys banged up but not being able to take care of business at home is frustrating to me.

I've had it with Mr. Brown for a while now too. This team has no offensive plays. The only thing "offensive" is watching Mike stand there and do nothin or just laugh. His schtick is up and I'd be ecstatic to see him go and and actually offense be installed into a team that has the potential to be very potent on that end of the floor.

I don't know what to tell you, but the Wizards have been better than us the entire season, and take out Waiters and Varejao and the Wizards have more talent EASILY than us. By like a wide damn margin.

Hold up.

Let me talk this out with you. You want Sergey to play, because young guys should be getting the minutes. But you want Hawes, he of 25 games left on his deal, to start?

No, if Hawes ever starts a game over Zeller I'll be done watching for the rest of the season.

Hawes is only 25. I'd like to make a good judgement on whether to resign him.

We know what Zeller basically is at this point.

So Zeller, younger and with less years in the league, we know what he is?

But we aren't sure about Hawes?

Don't buy it. Also don't buy playing a guy who likely won't be here after the season over the guy who most likely will.

Do we have to fire someone else for Kyrie to get his head out of his ass for a whole week?

This team is full of misfit parts. We haven't even began to build around Kyrie. We need pick and roll big men, interior D, shooters, etc. The wizards have done a fairly good job at surrounding Wall this season.

I'm not sure I can handle watching this team anymore this season. There's 25 games left, and Mike Brown and Grant's team he developed are heading to a rough end.

Send them all to Belize.

Oh let's stop now. This team can't handle injuries to 3 of it's 6(?) best players. IF you thought it could or think it should be able too, you're crazy and unrealistic. Take Beal, Gortat and Ariza off of Washington and see what happens. Suddenly Trevor Booker and Kevin Seraphin are playing lots of minutes and they don't look all that great.

we have those the problem is that it's easy to defend the pick&roll when your starting big can't shoot and the one who can shoot doesn't play...

Chris Grant destroyed the franchise

passed up two starting centers in the draft the past 3 years.
signed Earl Clark to play SF
signed Jack to a 3 year deal
signed Bynum
traded for a player on one leg
did not do coaching search and just signed Mike Brown
did not monitor Bennett's weight and conditioning over the summer
COST US ANY CHANCE AT LBJ.

I don't know why we got to act like for sure we can't bring Hawes back. It may be a small sample, but he's looked fine. The guy is an excellent passer, can rebound, shoots well. Hell, he was the only one with extended minutes that looked good tonight far as I'm concern.

It depends what his market is. I wouldn't pay him $10 million, but if we can retain him in the $7-$8 million range, I think you got to consider it. The guy is 7 feet tall and is pretty skilled.

Only "mistake" Grant made was hiring Mike Brown. That was a pretty big mistake though. everything else was acceptable.

Also the Bennett situation shouldn't fall entirely on Grant's shoulders. It was an organizational mistake. Blame should go to everybody ranging from Dan Gilbert to the people in charge of player development.
