I think the D league games are shown on at least tape delay on NBA TV, now the audience, it looks like you got some family and friends, but really, not much going at these games. Maybe they got more attendence on the weekends, but the game I saw had a really sparse arena
From Arkansas Back To Cleveland For Andriuskevicius
February 1, 2006
The Cleveland Cavaliers have recalled forward/center Martynas Andriuskevicius from the Arkansas RimRockers of the NBA Development League, Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry announced today.
Andriuskevicius was assigned to Arkansas on January 22, 2006. In four games with the RimRockers, he averaged 12.5 points on .536 shooting from the field (15-28), 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 22.3 minutes per game. His best game with the RimRockers came on January 26 against the Austin Toros when he finished with 14 points, six rebounds and three blocks in 29 minutes.-
The kid needs to be down there playing, getting some reps, just playing against comp night in and night out will only benefit him. Practice dumym for the Cavs wont.
I agree Mac. I would rather have seen him stay down in the NBDL for most of Feb. Marty needs game action. He doesn't have a role with the Cavs this year and Brown will never use him other than in a complete blowout. He needs more than just practice now.
It is nice to see that Marty performed well in his 4 games. He is a project but all signs point to him having the talent to become at least a contributing player in the future.
