Matthew Dellavedova

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
As I mentioned in the game thread, he secured a loose ball exactly how rugby players are trained to secure a loose ball. Korver put himself at risk by trying to block a loose ball with his leg. Korver probably wanted to make sure his hair would remain unruffled, but that isn't how you secure a loose ball.

It's always the way in loose ball situation, the guy who is too worried about getting hurt goes in half effort and come off worse. It's not delays fault he only has two settings 100% and 110% and one of them is broken.

I love the fact he drinks expression before matches, he play wired on caffeine and it explains a lot. I'm hoping if he gets to the finals he will have enough coffee to go full fry on the warriors

You want to know how cerebral Delly is? He let an inbounds pass roll up to half court bc we are winning and this was running the game clock while not yet starting the shot clock. So fuck you Reggie Miller for saying "why aren't you touching the ball?!? Your team is winning!" You just tried to jump a bishop with a checker and said king me. No Reggie, that is a pawn. It cannot move like that and we will not stack another one on top of it. The game doesn't work like that, you twit.

I thought that watching, too. It came along with Delly taking about 4-5 seconds to grab the ball and then an extra few to inbound from the baseline on several occasions. All in all he bought us the equivalent of a few possessions on "plays" 99% of people wouldn't pay any attention to in the last quarter

Love the hair part, he's constantly grooming his hair between plays

I will always give a like to any post that includes "Fuck you Reggie Miller" in it. Great player, terrible commentator. His sister probably rolled her eyes at his comment too, she is smarter than him.

Was just going to raise this point. I am wondering if the Hawks players will go after him physically even though I gotta say it looked simply like typical Delly hustle for a loose ball. We may close the series out before Delly would have to deal with the Hawks fans...

They're already going after him with some of the picks they're setting. Chicago tried the same shit.
Delly just smiles and keeps coming.

I used to watch Aussie football at like 2 am on Sportschannel and ESPN 2 back in the 90's. That shit is insane.

I remember that back in the day also. I can't say I'm a huge fan. The similarities to Americsn football are cool but the slow chaos bores me.
But those are some tough dudes that's for sure.

Australian basketball also tends to have more contact in the form of screens, but less of the wrestling. If a screen is set it is always going to be solid. I recall Reggie Miller becoming very upset at the Olympics when the Australians set hard screens.

I actually think the Delly method of attacking the screen has caught on for us, and is designed to cause offensive fouls when they should be called. It's hard to explain from a technical perspective, but it's like the counter to the CONSTANT, PERVASIVE NBA-WIDE moving screens where the screener keeps inching until he makes contact. So Delly forces the contact, which kind of freezes the screener so there isn't any pre-screen dancing where the offense is improving their position.

And yes, they are also going after him but it's ultimately Trollavedova who is getting under skin, not visa-versa.

I used to watch it too. Very good stuff!

Also, regarding Delly and how teams appear to be targeting him lol. I think Delly is actually licking his chops when he sees a screener coming. The kid actually relishes contact because of his background and he knows how to protect himself while getting his shots into the defender.

This is the correct sequence of events to describe to any idiot on Twitter who thinks Delly did anything wrong on the Horford play.

1. Delly tripped over Carroll who already on the floor

2. Horford hooks and locks Delly's arm

3. Horfords momentum combined with his hook and drag pulls Delly down on to the floor.

4. Horford goes WWE style with the elbow.

This is all clearly shown in the front side replay . Any Atlanta fan who views this and doesn't see those facts is delusional.
