Just bought this shirt. I hope it at least comes before the game on Thursday.
I ordered the "Do it for Love" shirt from them and got it within a couple days, but it was just being shipped to Akron so may be slower depending on where you live. Hope it makes it in time!

Now we're starting to see more talks of how Curry only beat himself and how he just didn't hit open shots, especially from Bucher. What's being overlooked is:

1.) Curry may have missed some shots he normally makes, but he makes some crazy shots to begin with. Just because he misses them, doesn't mean they're any less difficult to make.

2.) Delly constantly being in his chest, chasing him around, and being step for step with him the entire time he was in the game only made those shots even more difficult.

3.) While guarding him, Delly made Curry work for almost all of his shots and even made him work while trying to go get the ball. Not sure if Bucher is aware, but fatigue plays a role for a shooter, specifically when you're a PG and you have to work so hard to even get the ball.

4.) Anyone who has played even one game in their life will tell you that a defender that is constantly in your chest, constantly stride for stride with you, and won't leave you alone can be a pest. It takes people out of their game and frustrate the hell out of you.

5.) I don't care how good of a defender you are, you're never going to be perfect guarding an offensive guy (as far as not giving up clean looks goes).

I'm glad we ended up sticking with Delly during the search for a new backup PG. He's built for the postseason and for this team.

Good. I hope they continue to add fuel to the fire by continuing to blatantly not acknowledge the fact that Delly has been shutting down opposing point guards the entire postseason, and that last night was not an accident.

Here are some stats on Stephen Curry through two games in this series:

- Averaging 22.5 ppg, well below his average of 29.2 entering the Finals.

- 4/21 on three point attempts, or 19% -- well below his 43.6% entering the Finals.

- 15/43 on field goals overall, or 34.9% -- well below his 46% shooting entering the Finals.

- Averaging 5 turnovers per game. Averaging 6.5 assists per game. His assist/turnover ratio is 1.30.

- It's already been well-noted, but Curry shot 0/8 with Delly defending him last night, including 0/5 from the three point line, and his thirteen missed threes are the most for any individual player ever in the history of the NBA Finals.

So, you mean to tell me that the guy who just set the record for made threes in the postseason is only beating himself by shooting 4/21 in the Finals so far from that range? He beat himself into setting the all-time record for misses from long range in a single game?

Get the fuck out of here. Irving did a great job on him in Game 1. Delly did an outstanding job on him in Game 2.

Can't wait to see how everyone responds. Curry's trying his best to play it off and act like Delly didn't do anything special, but his face, his responses, and his body language last night betrayed that "confidence" that he has. Dude probably saw Delly in his sleep last night. I wonder how Delly is going to play in front of a rabid fan base that is hailing him as an unlikely hero?

I appreciate Dellys efforts a lot but at the end of the day Curry will shoot better and I worry we will get too hyped for this game like game 1 versus the Knicks. The Warriors know what they have to do and I fear our lack of depth will catch up to us. The pressure is on us to win now at home.

What I love best is the numbskulls in the media who are either dismissing Dellys defense as an anomaly or focussing on his inconsistent offensive performance on the night.
I don't think they are aware that his 6 turnovers and 1/6 shooting from the 3 point line was as much out of character as Stephs poor shooting. I mean these were his best 2 stats in the regular season (15th in the league at 3 point percentage, and 3rd at assists/turn overs)
Get ready for the Dellavedagger you haters !!!

6.) Delly has done this the entire postseason. He's successfuly shut down or slowed down every starting PG he has come across.

Imagine jameer nelson instead of delly defending curry RN :cha (40):

Chances are that Curry will get hot and hit some undefendable shots. That will give the ammunition for the commentators to dismiss Delly's defensive efforts from this game as a bad night for Stef.

What I loved was that there were times Curry just seemed to give up - stopped looking for the ball, stopped cutting, didn't set screens etc. There's no stat that will capture that.

Delly Standout in Classroom and On Court (report card from Delly's College advisor and Professor - NPR)

...Among those who'll be cheering on Dellavedova is his adviser and psychology professor at St. Mary's, Mary True.

True remembers seeing great things from Dellavedova in his four years playing for the Gaels; he finished his career as the school's all-time leader in scoring, assists and three-point shots. True says one of those three-pointers beat rival BYU and was immortalized as the "Dellavedagger."

But True says "Delly" was a standout in the classroom as well. And it's his performance there, and his fascination with psychology, that makes her believe he'll be fine when he finds himself on the global stage of the NBA Finals

...
"Company-Man Chuck" on Delly:
...
In a radio interview with Bleacher Report on Monday, Barkley said the idea that Dellavedova stopped Curry was "ridiculous" and that Curry was just having an off night.

"People need to slow down giving him [Dellavedova] so much credit," Barkley said.

"Steph Curry will kill that kid in the overall scheme of things. He just didn't make shots last night."

...
Undoubtedly Kerr will make some adjustments, but so will will Blatt and the Cavs.
We'll see who is ridiculous tomorrow night Chucky cheese-ball.
