Exactly. And a team like GSW exposes that. Absolutely have to have a backup PG and some others off the bench that can score.

I really hope we only have one of James Jones or Mike Miller on our roster next year. My guess is that's not the case, but that's my hope at least. Both those guys are so similar to each other at this point, that it doesn't make a lot of sense to have two of those taking up the roster, especially when Joe Harris is a younger version of that player that might be able to contribute some next year.

We know we have Haywood and Marion going away next year, so we need to fill those two spots with the Haywood contract. If we lose Perk and one of Jones or Miller then we have two roster spots to fill with the first rounder and the mini-mle. If we do all that I think we have a damn good roster.
 
Ye of little faith must not know of who we have on this roster.

It was easier for him to get minutes in MEM because their roster is full of plus defenders who can cover for him.

That said I expect Blatt to start throwing shit at the wall (rotation wise) when the wheels start falling off. Which mean Miller will most def be thrown out there.
 
Miller still doesn’t expect to get minutes in this series. :chuckle:

Gotta say, he seems to have a pretty good attitude about everything. More than other comparable players would in his position.

I'd play him briefly to test if he is feeling hot for the night.
 
Why play Miller when you can just play James Jones more minutes? Jones has been making shots at a semi decent clip and he's much more nimble than Miller.

I say just up Jones' minutes to 25 ish.
 
I hope Blatt gives Miller another chance in one of these home games. He seems to shoot better at home, he's due for a lights-out performance, and he was built for this moment.

If Miller has anything left in the tank I expect it to be unloaded in 1 of the next 2 games.
 
Can't believe how bad he looks out there. He was great for Memphis last year.
 
i know its not likley at all but i would Love getting Miller walk in slowly at some point and drain 7 or 8 threes like he did in Miami

not going to happen but hey one can dream right? :D
