MM looked pretty good out there last game, I wouldn't mind seeing him get more burn to try to reduce minutes on some of the other guys. Not sure if I want him taking shots because his shot has looked pretty off, whereas JJ has been really hot and could use more shots IMO.
I'm not sure about Miller's shot...the problem is that whenever he does see playing time it's too brief for him to get into any kind of a rhythm or, like Game 2, even hoist a shot up. If he shoots once and misses, the prevailing thought seems to be let's pull him vs. trying to get him going. Basically, asking Miller to be prime-time Miller is very difficult and, IMO, unfair because he isn't given the proper chance.

I maintain though that it seems to be less of a problem at home. He popped off a crucial 3 in Game 1 against the Bulls off a save from Delly that almost tied the game...then he didn't get an opportunity after that. When he saw garbage time in Game 4 against the Hawks, he popped off a beautiful 3.

The issue is one of trust...Jones has been clipping them off at a pretty steady clip so it's natural that we want him in there, but a little faith in Miller's ability, both from the personnel and himself, could go a long way IMO.

Spoke to Miller at press day, been quarrying him for weeks. He's a little frustrated at not getting time, he admitted, also gave credit to Blatt for recognizing that what his players do best was PnR not Princeton, just didn't have right personnel.

Favorite part is I've been (too) slowly asking the players about beating their dads. Miller claimed his dad ducked him and his oldest brother also ducked him. I told him it better be true because I'm gonna print it, and he laughed and said it was.

Any idea why Blatt doesn't give time to Marion and Miller? There has to be a reason.

They might looked completely broken and washed up in practice.
I'm tired of the media. They run with bullshit when they are not really privy to anything meaningful. If Blatt gives the minutes today and we lose/no impact some smart pants will write that it was done too late. You can't win with the 20/20 hindsight jackasses

Father time is the winner in this scenario with Mike Miller. I mean how can a player fall of as much as Mike Miller has? He was a shooting professional who was displaying clinics on the court during his first few years with the Heat. A couple years don't kill your ability to shoot.

I may receive heat for this post, ( No pun intended ) but I believe Mike Miller can give us five minutes a game. If James Jones can be out there and effective, Mike Miller can be too.

I love Blatt, but he better realize that Mike Miller needs to get in there. He could very well hit a couple threes and he is a smart player. Rebounds. Big enough to guard Iggy, Barnes, and Green. Not that I like those matchups. We need fresh legs.

I think he said earlier in the year that he is gonna pick up his option for next year.

Can someone explain how a career 40% 3pt shooter becomes a 33% 3pt shooter this season? Shooting shouldn't age, at least not so soon.

Waving the pom poms takes a lot of practice. You can't expect him to hit 40% and be a elite cheerleader.
