Mike Pettine

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Has too at this point.

How many first rounders need to be benched to see that guy is as big a problem as Pettine?

Cam Erving today served as a public service announcement for why you don't take jack of all trade depth O-lineman in the 1st round.

Do you actually read the shit you type out? You keep making stuff up and exaggerating the truth. You've been out of control all day.

You can't sit here and cry about benched draft picks and then bitch about it in the very next sentence when one plays and doesn't do well.

Dead man walking. Doubt Jimmy allows him to make it to the end of the year. Promote O'Niel interim and lets force this tank to hyper drive

As bad as you think this regime is, the large majority here believes you're worse as a poster.

I hope that puts things in perspective on just how terrible you are.

Well I hope Trivisonno is talking out of his ass again, the worst thing that could be done is to change coaches now

At this point, I think it makes more sense to let Pettine keep running the team into the ground for the last few games instead of promoting someone and risking a couple of short term wins from the boost you almost always see teams get when they fire a problematic coach.

I'd rather just let Pettine finish out the season in embarrassing fashion and walk away with the number one pick. This team isn't going anywhere regardless, and winning a few meaningless late-season games and ending up with the third or fourth pick would be oh so very Browns.

I say keep Pettine for 2 reasons.

1.) Give him a chance to hire a real DC. O'Neill got the job only because there was no one left to hire. We gave him 2 years and his defenses way underachieved. Allow Pettine to have a real DC.

2.) Does anyone trust Halsam/Farmer with a coaching search right now? Like, what is the likelihood we get who someone who is an actual better NFL headcoach than Mike Pettine? 10%?

His boy was his #1 and only choice.

He is running Pettine's system how Pettine wants it run. That is why he has never considered firing him, despite having had no business being allowed to come back as DC this year with how poorly last year went.

Pettine and O'Neil are a package deal, and have been since day 1.

Farmer isn't going to be here either.
