Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So what is the Jason Knapp update?

The Captains have a bunch of talent this year, so yeah, check them out. One qualm I have about Captains games- too expensive to get in, at least compared to other minor league teams. Literally, everything there is more expensive than Akron- and Canal Park is possibly the best non-AAA/bigleague park in all of baseball.

Really? I never got this impression. I've been to a couple Mudhen games and Captain games, but I never went to Akron. It never seemed to be that pricey to me, especially compared to the outrageous prices the Indians charge.

Carl Crawford:
32BB/102K at A in 600 PA (18 yrs old)
36BB/90K in 585 PA at AA (19 yrs old)

19 yr old L-Wash:
49BB/89K at A in 351 PA (19)

He may see more pitches, but he strikes out more and walks more than Crawford did at a similar level.

Given the athleticism, I still think its a pretty good comp.

holy shit trevor crowe is batting .429? damn.

I have a soft spot for the guy. I was a big fan of his when he was a young prospect, I hoped he could come up and be a great leadoff man. I'd still be happy if he found a way to make it back to the majors. We could use the speed.

Crowe is healthy and ripping up Triple-A, yet we continue you to use the good old Aaron Cunningham.

Swap them. Now.

holy shit trevor crowe is batting .429? damn.
