NBA 2K13

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Always thought the 2k sports guys were Miami fans considering how they have Wade rated higher than Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. In which, he isn't better than either..
 
Here is my take at attempting to do the ratings for the current Cavs roster in 2K13

Kyrie Irving - 84
Anderson Varejao - 76
Dion Waiters - 74
Tyler Zeller - 73
Tristan Thompson - 72
Daniel Gibson - 67
Omri Casspi - 65
Kelenna Azubuike - 64
Samardo Samuels - 62
Donald Sloan - 59
D.J. Kennedy - 56
Luke Walton - 54
Luke Harangody - 49
 
I'm currently making my own roster (realistic rookie ratings so no Tony Wroten as a 74, keeping the veteran players the same as the actual 2K update, FA signings, trades, perfect contract #'s, shoes, accessories, etc.) because I feel I can do better than every one of the downloads I have found so far. I will try to get it done as soon as possible and will keep updating it and uploading it to 2Kshare as more trades will likely occur along with the FAs that have yet to sign.

I'd do that, but I find the process of actually creating players that look like their real life counterpart and setting up all of their tendencies and shooting forms to be extremely tedious...

If I could just edit the player attributes, I'd make my own in a heartbeat.

That's what I am doing...I downloaded a roster that already had the rookies made with their shots and stuff and I am just going to edit their attributes, some tendencies, contracts, and their accessories. I'm just tired of looking for a good roster and stumbling upon an exact copy of one that I had downloaded earlier that I didn't like.
 
NBA Live has these rookie ratings. (I prefer 2k but just a reference)

Unibrow-80
MKG-78
Beal-76
Dion-76
TRob-77
Drummond-I think 74
Zeller-74
PJ3-74

those are just some I remember seeing.

If TT improves on 2k, Dion and Zeller are 76 and 74, with an 82+ Kyrie and 74ish Andy, Imma dominate.

But 2k is usually lower ratings than Live.
 
Just made a SF and the 3pt Specialist overall is 90? I was hella happy! Hahaha gonna dominate. Anyways. I got drafted to the Wiz, and I downloaded the new roster (before) and Now it's me, Wall, and Beal. I hate the Wiz, but Imma give them a shot.
 
I've been trying to do the "create a legend" game mode as Dion with the downloaded rookie rosters but 2k blocks it for some bullshit reason. If I can't use it online what's the point of even limiting this?
 
Yeah, I'm probably just going to download from Operation Sports.

I tried making my own roster, but I've only got the 76ers and like half of the Bobcats done.

It's because that Dion Waiters is a created player. You cannot use created players in Creating a Legend. Probably so that people don't make the all 99 God players and just use those.

That is a dope soundtrack, and I would way rather have a bunch of bleeps than a bunch of shit I've never heard of from genres i've never heard of.

I'm surprised Jay-Z didn't put this on there :chuckles:

Of course Jay has a big part in this, what with the move to Brooklyn and all. The man is a business genius and this move will no doubt garner him more attention, and in turn, the nets. Plus 1901 by Phoenix is a great song.

The only bad thing is the lack of up and coming rappers per usual in 2k games like Chiddy and XV in 2k12.

Looks like they stole NBA Live's freestyle dribble stick and replace the shot stick with it. Defense SOUNDS better, who knows if it actually is though. I really hope they improve the online associations and their servers (although they should have done it 4 years ago).
