I can see all of those but 2. Zeller won't be that bad and McLemore won't come in with the same rating Beal ended his rookie year on.

Started a new my player as a defensive center. Actually having a lot of fun with it. He's only a 71 overall but I usually get 23 pts 13rbs and 3 blocks a game when I play, plus I get A+ teammate grades like crazy.

Quick team-up isn't exactly team up when your teammates don't pass the basketball.

I quit playing 2k online for a couple months because of everything you just said but I just decided to play a little but recently because I've been so bored. I hope in 2k14 the one thing that they make sure they fix is defense. The way the game is, zone defense (especially the 1-3-1) is too good. In real life teams play man...only rarely do you see a team play zone and have success. All people do online is play zone and run around double teaming whoever has the ball...very annoying and cheap.

Once you realize that it's just a game and stop giving a fuck though the game isn't too bad. Definitely a lot of exploits but still playable.

1-3-1 is easy to beat. Just run any "horns" play and your opponent will be left scrambling to cover both corners. What is annoying is the standing dunks and double teams. They need to tone the effectivity of those down.

I love how everyone who complains about 2k13 always points out the same issues. That's how you know it's a problem with the game and not just bad people bitching. Hopefully 2k fixes most if not all of the exploits in NBA 2k14

A lot of those problems are problems with the community that play the game and are pretty unavoidable. Yet, they could still try to nerf the things that tend to get abused the most. The 1-3-1 and double teaming is an obvious one that you have all commented on already. It especially bothers me when they will just run around with a player who is good at threes and wait til he gets an open shot and make it every time. So frustrating to have them run towards the hoop and then run back towards the 3pt line and be open every time, no matter how I guard him. I feel like I'm the only person in the world who actually posts people up and tries to run a normal offense rather than abusing exploits the whole time.

Trust me, you're not.

I do it every time I play. I enjoy playing online with KG, Duncan, even Dwight Howard. Its annoying when I play another team who just picks the Thunder and shoots 30 times a game with Kevin Durant, or the Knicks with Melo, etc.

Played blacktop again last night, was bored and my brother kept bothering me about it. So we played, we won every game but it was still annoying. I also enjoy the part where I can't shoot until I flick the right stick down because I get glitched every two seconds.

James Harden is like MJ in this game, he hits practically everything.

I refuse to play Miami, and I only ever play with Cleveland. I have played probably 300 games with the digital Cavaliers.

I must say, Alonzo Gee is my secret weapon. He's like Dominique Wilkins in this game. His jumper is pure top. Can't tell you how many baseline reverse jams I have has with Zo, countless.

2K has also never 'gotten' Anderson Varejao down pat. They can't replicate his style.
