NBA 2K13

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So in my latest Cavs association...

1. Drafted Noel
2. Signed Dwight
3. Traded Varejao, Lakers pick, 2nd rounder for Deng

Kyrie/Livingston
Dion/Ellington
Deng/Gee
Noel/Tristan
Dwight/Zeller

This is totally what should happen this summer :chuckles:

Im looking to sell or trade my copy of 2k13 for PS3, message me of anyone is interested.

Howd you guys do on 2k ranked matches this year with Cleveland? I know before I left I wasnt that good with Dion scoring wise. He was a great ball handler and playmaker for me tho. But honestly if he dropped 20 for me its because he took 20 shots. I missed out on playing with Livingston but I feel I wouldve been able to beast with him. I cant wait to get back and run with my team.

DUDE!!! haha That is hilarious because my association went pretty much the EXACT same way. That is crazy.

I drafted Noel, drafted Alex Len, and picked up Peyton Siva off of free agents (nobody drafted him). I signed Dwight (just gave him a close to max offer and didn't think he would actually accept). I signed Tony Allen. I traded like Speights for Mbah a Moute and Shane Larkin. I still have/had an overload of bigs but my lineup was:

Kyrie/Larkin/Siva
Dion/Allen
Mbah a Moute/Miles
Noel/Tristan
Dwight/Andy/Len/Zeller

I just simulated the next season and didn't play any games. Kyrie won MVP, Noel won Rookie of the Year, and Byron Scott won Coach of the year. We made it to the ECF before we got bounced.

Now I'm in the next off season. I fired Byron Scott and signed DOC RIVERS! (on a 4.2 per year for 4 year deal). Right now I'm in the 2014 draft waiting to draft with the 16th pick... Parker went 1 to Raptors and Wiggins went 2 to Pistions... I just tried to trade Tristan and Len and a 1st for Wiggins but they wouldn't bite. And now its time to draft, and I drafted Aaron Gordon. Alright now I was just offered this years 1st (pick 20) and next years 1st from the Clippers for Zeller and I accepted (figured I might as well since I have too many bigs the way it is). With that I drafted Aaron Harrison (never heard of him but he was projected top 5 and fell to number 20 lol).

So welcome Aaron Gordon and Aaron Harrison

Alright on to the signing period, I signed the rooks. I signed Shawn Marion to a 1 year deal at 1.17M. I signed Stephen Jackson to a 1 year deal at 1.2M. I resigned Andy at 2.05M for 2 years. After the period is over, nobody signed Gortat so I will sign him to a 3.96M for 1 year deal. I released Siva.

Now I'm looking for a backup PG because there are quite a few good ones left, and Aaron Brooks, Sessions, and Ishmael Smith all said they would take a reduction salary to play with me to have a shot at the championship. Nice gesture, but I couldn't afford 3 mil, so I signed Kirk Hinrich for 991K for a year. And Nba.com projected me #1 in the Power rankings! My new line up:

Kyrie/Larkin/Hinrich
Dion/Harrison
Marion/Jackson/Mbah a Moute
Noel/Thompson/Gordon
Howard/Gortat/Len/Varejao

Lets see what happens. That is just too many good bigs to have on one team. I'm probably gonna need to package 2 or 3 of them together and try to get a better SF or something if I can.

Seems like Dwight Howard always ends up in Cleveland in everyone's association.

I did a new association, aside from my one where I'm in year like, 10.

Traded everyone away, acquired Drummond and he and Irving went Bobcats year 1. Had 3 lottery picks, Charlotte took Otto Porter 1st-overall and I went ahead and got Nerlens Noel. Also signed Chris Paul, then traded him for Rajon Rondo and 2 1st-rounders.

Rondo
Irving
Porter(signed/traded Iggy for him and 2 Bobcat first)
Noel
Duncan(traded Drummond for Duncan and 2 1st)

Ended up trading away 1st-rounders that sucked for lottery picks, so I'm set on Andrew Wiggins in the next draft.

The two point guard system is amazing. Rondo also has dimer on so when Irving gets his passes, it's basically money.

How's everyone getting the actual rookies onto an association? Is their anyway to get the actual rookie class on an online association?

Download one from 2k share when it asks you when the association first pops up. It will ask if you want to auto generate the rookies, or you can upload one from 2k share that someones already made. The ones that have alot of downloads are the ones that are usually the best.

So if I am already in an online association with my buddies that is in the playoffs, I'm not able to download this years draft class for the draft?

Nope you gotta do it at the start of the season..........so everyone can do their scouting

On an online one, I'm not sure its even possible though. On a normal association, you can for sure.

Damn, guess I'll try my best tomorrow. Pretty annoying having the top projected pick for the draft being some ugly ass Center from Mexico....

Anybody wanna take a shot at predicting the NBA2k14 rookie ratings. I dont know if we'll start a new thread or just change the title of this one to 2k14 so ill post this here for now.

Noel- Guy is gonna come in with immeadiate impact.....but I dont see him being higher than a 75. 2K really dont give you love without offense

Ben Mac- Not as good as Beal who came in a 76 but I think he will have around a 67-69 rating. Hes not even better than Waiters and Waiters came in a 71ovr

Porter- His all around skill should give him AT LEAST a 72. Guy is efficient in scoring, rebounding, passing, and defense.

Olapido-Looking at the highest rated player I think of the rookies. I could see him at a 77-78. Has a better J than MKG and also plays just as hard on D, and just as explosive.

Bennett- Guy may end up being a good Zach Randolph mold....or whatever you never know. But hes active and can shoot. Think we got a 70 on our hands. Definitely the best PF in the draft

Burke- Better than Kendall Marshall, but not in the class of elite PGs to come out recently. Ill give him a 68(Respectable 2k rating for a rookie)

Len- Kanter came in a 65 and I swear Kanter is better than this guy. But ill give him a 65 also.

Zeller- His bro came in a 66, and Cody is better than Tyler. Gotta give him a 68-69

McCollum-? You guys can hit this one....hes 1 guy I never watched

Other notables:

Shabazz Muhammad- Look out this guy could end up as a Austin Rivers guy on 2k. RAted low and may not work out at 1st in real life, but in 2k will be a MONSTER. Ill give him a 67 just like Austin

Plumlee-?

Gobert-?

Deshawn Thomas- No way hes over a 64

Glen Rice Jr- Sleeper, he better come in a damn 67 or higher.....man can play

I am actually making a draft class right now since all of the ones I have downloaded and tried have all been terrible (every player has signature skills, even undrafted guys, and most of the players are unrealistically good). So far I have made about 25 players in less than a day. Best players are Noel, Porter, McLemore, and Oladipo all at 72. Only players with signature skills are the ones in my top 5 (the ones already listed + Burke). The top players aren't that elite, but I made my draft very deep with role players which is what most people are saying about this draft.

2K will definitely have some of those guys above 72.

They will, doesn't mean I will though or that the rating they give in the beginning will last the entire year next year. Really none of these guys have actual abilities in real life to make them higher than a 72 in my eyes. Most of them are good in one or 2 aspects, but shitty in others. Noel is great on defense and rebounding, shitty on offense. Oladipo is a lockdown defender and is a decent shooter, but can't beat people off the dribble or create for others. McLemore can shoot and dunk, but he can't create for others and isn't that great of a defender. I can keep going, but you get the picture. It will be a shame if any of these guys come in higher than some of the top rookies from last year.
