You think the points in the paint rule is going to be hard to follow though? Like you probably didn't notice while you were playing (I by no means think you were trying to do this), but in four of our five games in the playoffs, you had PIP of 62, 76, 72, and 74...and I really don't think those numbers would have changed if that rule would have already been in place because you weren't trying to cheese, just taking what the defense gave you, you know?

Yea, I said when the league started that I got a raw deal when the cpu autodrafted for me.
I didnt mean to PIP you guys to death. I couldnt shoot for shit with half of my wing players and my leading scorer was Boozer who did all his work in and around the paint. Not to mention I adjusted the sliders going off what someone told me to do and the once the defensive momentum got going, the opposition couldnt buy a shot outside of 15 feet... so...
That game we played yesterday Chris, where I played with Milwaukee, is more indicative of how I play. I think I ended up in that game with 30 PIP and more midrange jumpers than anything else. The sliders malc and I are working on have midrange at 50 and outside and inside 48 or 46 range probably.
Sam... its possible. On 7 min qtrs, if you play it sim, you are averaging 80-85 points. Take into effect FT's (which there will be more of this time with sliders better) and I think that 60 points is a fair cushion. Its still 75% of you points you should be scoring, and thats more than 2 of the other cash leagues I played in last year would allow.
In those leagues they said a MAX of 50% of your scoring in the paint. I think what we are doing by setting a solid score, is more definite and easier to keep track of as well as more lenient.
The superstar rule REALLY wont affect us like it does other leagues. Because we will all have no less than 4 superstars on each team. Each team will have close to 3 players with 90 at least.
I think we can spread the ball around and not score 50 with one player. You dont do that anyway, whats ur beef?
Everybody would have to adjust their games accordingly and play a more realistic game is all.
Its not all about who wins and winning by any means necessary. Its about getting some good run in and having a realistic league man. The money is nothing, just insurance that all players who get in will stay in and have something to look forward to making the playoffs for.
besides, if you make it to overtime and the game is on the line, then pretty much all rules go to hell and you can scrap it out like a little girl then:chuckles:

I've played about 6 games online, won only 2. I'm going for the online achievements so I'm still trying. Only team I'm any good with is the Lakers, and even then that just makes me competitive.

We actually have commits and invitations sent out for the entire league to be filled already. Guys just havent joined yet. So if they get in there we can generate a schedule today or tomorrow.
For everyone who hasnt joined yet, you can and will get left out if the league fills and you were just dragging your feet to get in. I think there are 8 users already in so we have 4 spots left. But I know for a fact that there are 6 or more invites waiting to be accepted. So...
First come first serve for peaople accepting invites. And the same goes for gettin the payment in.
Thursday at 6pm est. If you are in the league with a team and everything, but you dont have your buy in by then, then the next guy in line has a chance to steal your spot.

As far as off the ball D goes....
I play on the ball when playing man. If i'm playing well and shutting you down i'll stick with it. But one of my defenses that I use regularly as a switch up is 2-3 defense. The only way to run an effective 2-3 D in 2k you have to play off the ball about 50% of the time. So is this going to be an issue? I think a lot of guys that complain about off ball D just aren't that good. It's easier to beat the computer than it is to beat a good human defender.
