can new iphone do outlook? I think that the iphone is sexy but overvalued until it can compete with BB in the business world. For me, I need organization over music/looks, and I am not the only one. I also feel that nothing could be faster than me typing on my BB, but I haven't played with an iphone.
Price is lower because its now allowed to be subsidized... Nice thing for us is that these phones are making such a competition for market share that they are going to sacrifice margins to sell them to us.

Do you guys realise that the iPhone 2.0 is not cheaper? The lowest end model in this version is $200. The lowest end model in the last version was $400.
The rule of thumb of anyone with any sanity would say that the iPhone 2.0 is $200 cheaper. YEAY!!!!
NOT SO FAST!
They just stated that they just raised the Data Plan rate by $10. I am not the smartest with math, but I know one thing:
$10 (extra a month) x 24 (months of a 2-year contract) = $240.
So.........Not only did they creatively bob n weave around the consumer's mentality, but they just tagged another $40 to it.
PS- I was stoked. As soon as I read the report yesterday I was like, "YEAH I am so getting one". Then I did the math above and then I was not so stocked anymore. And I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to be stuck with a 2.0 mpx camera, no video recording, no mms, no cut n paste, etc, for 2 years.
I have been eyeing either the Blackberry Curve 8320 or the HTC touch PRo for the longest time. I think I am going to make my selection near the end of the summer.

I have a Curve 8330 and couldnt be more happy with it.
