New Lebron Commercial

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What should you do? You should stop being a bitch.

WHO CARES?????

Jesus Im so sick of this guy.

Enjoy your new team and just play basketball.

Leave us alone.

The Commercial almost tricks the viewer into thinking he is asking us what he should do. But once again he is proving he is a self centered indiviual. He is mentioning everything people think he should say or do. What he is really saying is people are not going to tell him what to do because he will do what he wants. Nike is coming off saying don't listen to what others say, just do what you believe in. In conclusion if you want to be a self centered, egotistical prick, buy nike brand.

What did we want from you, LeBron? We wanted you to deliver a championship to Cleveland, like you said you would. We wanted you to play your hardest until the final buzzer sounded in your Cavaliers' career, not coast through your final games. We wanted you to try to recruit other players to Cleveland, like you are for Miami. We wanted you to, in exchange for 7 years of incredible support, at least treat us with respect on the way out. We wanted you to have the class to inform the Cavaliers organization that you were leaving, and not let them and your teammates find out when you made your TV announcement. We wanted you be committed to the Cavaliers through your entire contract, and not make backroom deals with Pat Riley and Dwayne Wade a year before you even hit free agency. Most of all, we wanted you to be different than the other athletes...we wanted you to represent our city and our state, and to be someone we could be proud of. We wanted the next MJ, and we got the NBA's version of Brett Favre...without the championships of course.

wait...you people like this commercial?

What should you do? Behave with dignity. Not for me, for Akron, Cleveland, or for Ohio. For you....like cheating on a girlfriend, stealing from a friend, or getting over on someone...when that initial selfish impulse wears off, you alone have to deal with what you did. The guilt is clearly eating you up. I am already over it. And you likely have to live with that "decision" forever.

It's a well written, well shot, and just overall well done commercial.

What does it mean? Not much. It means Nike still wants to sell shoes and LBJ's still an asshole. But at least they know how to make commercials. One hour specials? Not so much.

Is there some kind of effort to suppress Lebron talk going on around here because it seems odd to me that the thread would be allowed only in the least populated section on the board where very few people visit.

Great commercial- but what's the message? Interesting, lots to analyze there. Sounds like a defiant LeBron James, telling people he will do what he wants to do, not what other people want him to do.

Dwayne Wade disagrees with this.

and this is what it looks like when a billion dollar company protects one of their largest investments. A great PR team can make any bumbling fool look good.

I can't believe there's some of you on here that actually liked that BS. ESPN & Nike are the same thing. It brings them all the $$

What I want him to do is to be real AND compassionate at the same time. Say you did what you wanted to do just because you wanted to, AND you feel sorry for all the Ohioans you let down. That you understand their pain and are sorry, but in the end, needed to do this for yourself and your own growth.

We'd still be pissed but at least we could begin to move on. This BS just keeps it going. He just don't get it.

It's not that I personally like it, it was just very well made. It served its purpose.

As I said, it sucks that we can't respond with our own. Would be cool if Gilbert funded something like this so we can get our point across.

I can't wait for Chucks reaction tomorrow night on TNT. I hope he tears him apart and comes up with a thoughtful rant.... Miracles happen right? :chuckles:

The guy is a self-centered clown, I wish he would just go away........too bad this is just the begining

Its amazing how LeBron can go from "The Decision," one of the worst PR moves we've ever seen, to this commercial, which is brilliant

That's the difference between his PR people and Nike's.

Easily the best thing he's done since the season ended.

I wouldn't put it past Gilbert to have an answer ready to show at the Q this week.

LeBitch should be in a psych ward, i really think there's something wrong with his brain..
