Obama has a huge upper hand in this one, ANY democrat would because of the unpopularity of GW and the current state of the economy. The fact that McCain/Palin are even keeping this thing close is a surprise. It also helps that Obama is a pretty damn good speaker, this helps during debates, and Palin is new to the media game, obviously having a hard time with it. But we'll see where this thing ends up, I wonder which state will determine this year's election...

The right wing whining is pretty funny. You guys had complete control and this country is now a complete mess. Just like what happened in Ohio after 12 years of complete right wing Republican control.

Clearly you need to do some research, Maximus was correct but I will expand, quite simply Ohio is a Manufacturing state, as is Michigan the only two states with a negative growth in 2007. You can thank Nafta for that, on top of what Max listed x 10. All of the manufacturing is moving to mexico, and what didn't go there is going to china. Im not speaking out of my ass. I worked at Maverick Electronics in Heiland hts for 4 years. We moved the bulk of our labor intensive jobs to our Mexico plant because the labor was 1/8 of the ohio plant was. Guess when nafta was signed, December of 1992 about 13 years ago. Guess who forced it down your throat. Bill Clinton. Granted Ohio has done a poor job fixing the problems and diversifying the economy. You can hardly blaime that on the goverment though, blaime it on the unions that have the goverment tied up.

Experience is great but if you cling to poor policies and philosophies and you continue to demonstrate questionable judgment then all the experience in the world doesn't matter.
I think middle class and working class Americans will very much like the necessary changes coming. Elitist, multimillionaire, priviledged, well connected Americans might not have things the same but I guess they'll just have to go without 9 homes and 13 cars.

Are you kidding me, 5 % of the population is upper class, so I guess the 5% have been rigging all the elections? We make about 200k as a family right now my wife and I. We vote republican. Last year in Ohio we made 70k combined, and still voted republican. We are both former Marines and have our own reasons, but you can hardly call us elitist, multillionaires or even well connected. The only difference between us and the well-fair family is we joined the Military served our country and used the benefits to get my wifes college paid for. Then worked our asses off to get were we are. What you do not understand is that that upper-class you have so much distain for is actually 95% small busines and Biden flat out lied when he said it wasn't in the debate. The people who will get screwed the most by a tax raise for the + 250k is the employees who will get laid off when small business can not afford them any more and can not afford growth. Yes GE and and all the oil business will have to pay too, but they do not have the effect on the economy like your small bussiness do.

served as cheerleaders rather than do their job by asking the necessary questions before Iraq mess and devoted thousands of hours of coverage to an infamous blow job that had zero effect on anyone's life.

I could careless about the media so I will skip that non sense, but I will tell you this, we are back in Iraq because we didn't finish the job the first we were there thanks to congress and the crappy ass UN who can't enforce scratch that, will not enforce there own embargo's. I can tell you this I never cared about weapons of mass destruction. Those people in Iraq were sheeple who were being tortured and slaughtered and did not have the ability to stand up for themselves. Talk to any Marine who spent any real time in Iraq after we went back in the second time and they will tell you, we were greeted as Liberators. Im not trying to change your mind, vote how you feel, but don't come here posting half truths because you are ignorant of what really happen. Here is an idea, even wolfman can benefit from along with you. Stop reading and reciting the opinions of others do your own research and come up with your own ideas. At least then when you make a point it will come across like you might have an idea what your talking about.

You wanna know the only reason I think Obama has a chance? LOL Im gonna say it anyways, Bush was to much of a pansy ass to come out and point fingers at Clinton and what he and congress ****ed up. Now McCain is paying for that. Granted by the time they realized what was wrong he was stuck, congress surely wasn't going to take any blaime in the bullshit they have been pulling for the last decade, they rather all lump it on Bush and the Iraq war.

Yea it sucks that our biggest expenditure seems to be the Iraq war, but in the end Iraq will have a democracy and we will have a staunch allie, and heaven for bid we just happened to do the right freaking thing.

McCain is out of touch with the economy...

John Stewart said it best (about Palin's debate)
"Do you just go to a job interview and say I love pretzels? Don't answer the question."

Let the Democrats do for America what they done for Cleveland (and Detroit).

Let the republicans do what they did to the economy of the whole united states...
