New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just watched Season 1 of Vikings. Really enjoyed it. I need to watch season 2 somewhere.

I really liked Vikings! But once a show goes on a break i always forget when it comes back and just forget about it... ha

Just watching the first episode of 'an honourable woman' starring maggie gyllenhaal as a British arms manufacturer who trie to bring down the barriers between Israel and Palestine. Given the topic over in the other page on RCF it might be appropriate for so e if you can get hold of it.

This is on Sundance, right? I was sorta interested but I get this shitty ass SD feed of that channel and it's borderline unwatchable. Basically almost kills Rectify for me.

Not sure.. its on BBC in england, i assumed it would be on BBC america

Watching "Rome" now. I space off sometimes, but it has been okay so far.

It's a really, really good series. One of my favorites. If you're a history buff you kind of have to forget about its inaccuracies at times, but that shit all went down what, 2000 years ago? For real, who the fuck knows what actually happened. Purefoy as Marc Antony? One of my favorite portrayals of a historical figure ever.

Season 1 was awesome. Season 2 was not, solely because the series got cut midway through the season and they rushed the end.

I started watching The Leftovers. I'm only halfway through episode 2. I'll say it's interesting to have me curious to see how the rest of the season pans out. I almost think Kevin has a "Tyler Durden" thing going on.

True Blood predictions-
Bill survives, Sookie makes a deal to sell her blood. Hoyt and Jessica get back together, Eric and Pam have a sex scene finally. I think they go massively happy here.

Yet another episode of The Strain that was just, 'ehhh'. I still think it is a good show but this show could fucking rock but sometimes it is so slow.

I get they had to tell the back story of "the creature". I am happy we may finally get that pest dude involved since he saw all those fucks in the sewer system. It did shock me that wife killed herself, the one that helped her husband feed on the dick neighbor. I felt they could of ran with that a bit.

I am still going to watch but hopefully they pick it up within the next couple episodes!

I thought they kind of dropped the ball with the depiction of the Polish camp during WWII. In the books it felt much more threatening. Every day the Germans would
round up anyone not fit to work, line them up next to a ditch, and walk down the line shooting them one by one before burning the bodies.
That definitely should have been included in last night's episode. It would have made for a much more powerful visual than just seeing Setrakian and his buddy chatting in a workshop.

I spoilered that because it might be included in a later episode. Still, I thought they should have opened with it, or at least showed it early on as a depiction of how horrifying the camp was.

The Outlander is supposed to be good. Anyone watch?

(OK, like 3 people in the world have Start)

Watched ep1 most of the way through of The Knick. Might get back to it sooner or later. Can't take the goriness though and I'm sure it will get worse.

Penny Dreadful - Season 1 : 7.5/10

MY feelings about this series is mixed. The acting is great, the production value is rich and it has a dark, gloomy and scary atmosphere and a good story line. The failure comes in the form of how the directory takes the story ... It seems to drag in too many places and the pacing is just not proper. This is another show like the strain that seems to have potential but is underwhelming.
