New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watched the first episode of wayward pines. Really strong, good idea to cast such matt dillon and use his default face to express what most people would describe as confusion and bewildermant. I have no doubt the ending will be a disappointment but im going to try and catch up with it

As an aside, i would recommend 'Humans' on AMC its a british show thats just started and it pretty good about synthetic humanoid slaves

I actually liked the books quite a bit. The twist as to what Wayward Pines really is was totally unexpected and unique. The ending of the final book was a little weak, though, but maybe the writer is planning additional books.

While the Fantastic 4 movies were godawful, I thought Chiklis and Evans were both really well cast as the Thing and the Human Torch. They had great chemistry too. The problems with those movies was that everyone else was miscast and also that the writing was generally terrible.

Holy shit! So I was wondering what else Michael Jace (Officer Julien Lowe) has been up to since The Shield ended, and I came upon this in his wikipedia article:

Jace was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department on May 19, 2014. Police had responded to a home in the Hyde Park section of South Los Angeles after receiving a report of a domestic violence incident. Jace also called the police and stated, "I shot my wife."[2] When police arrived, they found Jace's wife, April,[3] dead from a gunshot wound. Police took Jace into custody for questioning in her death;[4] he later confessed to the shooting. On May 22, 2014 he was formally charged with murder by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. [5]

Penny dreadful is about to wrap up its second season next episode. The pacing at times has been a little slow, but it has seriously picked it up these last two episodes. I haven't seen anybody really talk about penny dreadful here, but it's a really good show if you are interested in the classic monsters and Victorian-era London

I watched a few, really didn't hold my interest much.

I watched the first few episodes of the first season of Penny Dreadful and just kind of lost interest.

Does anybody watch twelve monkeys? I feel like I watch all the bastard shows.

Totally forgot that show existed. I heard really good things but never actually watched it. Now that you've reminded me I'll have to take a look.

I feel like it's a show that benefits from binge watching. I had never seen it but they were advertising season two and the first season was only 8 episodes. So I watched them all over like a 4 day span. At that point I was invested.

I'll have to give it another shot. I have Showtime, so I can binge watch on the app.
