It's been a nice run and I'm proud of the way this team has fought through injuries... but that final stretch of 18 games in 16 days (with no off-days) will be the death of us, if we are even still alive at that point. It will be hilariously unfunny to see the pitching rotation and batting orders we are forced to throw out there to end the season.

Also, I can wait to watch us try to hit off Bruce Chen again this Friday night. That's always fun. And we face Harden Wednesday too. It's hard enough to win when you only get 2 runs a game against bad pitching.
 
Sad day for me personally, LaPorta has been optioned to Columbus and Gomez recalled
 
Maybe he will realize his potential and try and fucking reach it.
 
I don't know but for now I am happy I don't have to watch him play
 
Just like last time he was down there, he will absolutely hammer the AAA pitching. Just watch. He'll have 5 HR's in the first week.
